I bought the coolmaster gpu bracket v2 I thought it was supposed to have the 4.0 pcie riser but it had the 3.0 and im plugging in an rtx3090 so I wanted the max speed with 4.0 if it was like a 1060 then I'd have kept the 3.0.. the backet kit coat 60 bucks and the 4.0 riser cost another 60 buck but I think it looks good and all the other 4.0 risers cost the same price but this one just looks better than the rest I'd definitely suggest getting this 4.0 pcie x16 riser if you need one ... show more

    • A PCIe 4.0 x16 riser that works reliably.
If you need a PCIe 4.0 riser cable for vertical mounting of something like an RTX 3080, this is the one to get. It just works: no device bandwidth issues, no bus errors, no driver watchdog TDR’s, and no performance problems whatsoever. This works particularly well with CoolMaster’s own second revision universal vertical mounting kit. The only negative is the cable, despite CM’s best efforts, is very heavily shielded and, as a result, can be challenging to fold appropriately behind the mounting kit. It's useless because it doesn't fit all cases. I tried to put it in Rog Helios but it's too small and holes don't line with with the standoffs.

Really good quality riser cable. Benchmarks before and after using the riser cable are identical so zero lose in GPU performance. I definitely recommend this riser cable.

    • A Bit Stiff, But Works Well
It was a little hard getting this in my case as the cables are doubled up and hard to bend into the needed "S" Shape. It comes folded in half, so you may need to work it into the shape you need.
