After testing this dashcam for 2 weeks. I am highly impressed by the quality of the dashcam functions and video quality. I've had a previous dashcam that you couldn't see diddly on the screen and would always have to pull the SD card to review footage. Having the wifi feature to connect to your phone is awesome. I can review the trips, save sections of video, and it has GPS location on where the video was taken. The screen shuts off while driving, the power (blue) stays constant and (red) record light flashes when in operation. This is my second COOAU dash camera so far and have been satisfied with the first one being the D30S model. I like the functionality of these compared with other models as they seem fully customizable. So far I've not had any problems with either of them and just received the hardwire kits. Looking forward to installing the kits this weekend. If you're in the market for a dash camera, I recommend giving these a shot. They seem to work well in very hot and very cold climate that I live in. The parking feature is also a nice touch that many other cameras do not do well. I plan on purchasing more of these these cameras in the near future for other vehicles. ... show more

I bought 2 cameras in October. One of cameras stopped working due to power supply slot becoming loose. Now camera turns on and off on its own Making it impossible to use. I contacted customer. Since I bought this product I have been trying to find the app with my Samsung phone and it seems like it doesn't work. Yes, they do provide a QR but, it doesn't work either. Other than that the camera does work flawlessly and had no issues. UPDATE: The seller did help a lot and provided me with another app called "Aoni carDVR".     • The thing turns off/resets from hard bumps/incidents.
Within the first month, the app stopped working. It wont let me sign in anymore, just saying I need to use a valid email, which I am. Uninstalling the app, etc. Did not work. Could no longer log in, ever. Also, whenever you go over a hard bump, the camera restarts/resets itself. I just blew 2 tires partially dodging a light pole laying perpendicular to the lane on the highway in snowy conditions at 3am. The bump of running over the light pole causes the camera to reset, AND it appears it deleted the video section of that incident... the video files jump from #xx590, straight to #xx593, so the Front and Rear clips are missing. So what would happen if there was an actual wreck? Is the camera just going to delete the video clips that I really need? It's a trash camera then if you cant get the clips when you need them. Unreliable. Do yourself a favor: Spend more money on a better camera. ... show more

Very easy to install and the controls are simple to learn. You can turn the inside cabin camera off, stop recording, etc very easily. I also like the fact that you can pivot the interior camera to suit your needs.
