    • Fantastic controller covers.
I recently upgrade from a Quest 2 to a Quest 3 and needed to replace things like grip covers. These seem well made and fit perfectly over the controllers. Having come from a Quest 2 where you need to remove the covers to change controller batteries, I absolutely love the battery doors with tabs to pop the battery. There is good texture across all surface. The silicone material out of the box is every so slightly slick. I feel like with use, this will get a little more grippy. The hand straps have good hold and adjustability. I'm a pretty big dude (6' 1" 290lbs) and I can still adjust these to fit my banana fingers, but I feel like I am at the upper edge of adjustability in terms of the velcro. For the good, I really like the way these feel. Also, I definitely prefer these hand straps over the cords that came with the system. For the bad, the battery covers are awful. They replace the originals and have a cutout that is supposed to let you change the battery without taking off the grips. Trying to get the battery out is not possible because the cutout is too small. If you could get one end of the battery to pop out it would be fine, but the cutout covers both ends of the battery. Maybe I just got a bad set. Regardless, I just leave the battery cover off. It doesn’t affect anything and it’s easy to slide the grips off when needed. ... show more

    • Feels good but weird battery cover
I really like the design and feel of the material, which is very grippy and great for play. The velcro straps feel much more secure than the wrist straps, but you can and probably should use both. It comes with replacement battery covers for easier battery access/replacement, but it took some time for me to figure out the battery release tabs it comes with. It works for now but it's very flimsy plastic and I don't see it lasting. Once that breaks, getting the battery out is fairly difficult. ... show more

I had low expectations for these hand grips but was pleasantly surprised. They are made of tough rubber and are very comfortable. I like how they tuck the battery away and that I can release them without dropping them. My granddaughter plays my Quest all the time and I know she will just love it.
