We've tried silicone covers with handles and tried twice with a handle that was attached to the battery cover and all broke within weeks. This product seems to be made more durable than those and has surpassed how long the others lasted (at least so far!). They are super easy to install and make it easy to change out the batteries. They fit nice and snug with velcro adjusters so the controllers don't accidentally fly out of your hand. Even if they break after a few more months (knock on wood they don't), I'd still probably buy them again! As the mom of a rough 10-yr-old who uses them daily (and I try to squeeze in time to play myself), I totally recommend them! ... show more

It feels like it was made by meta themselves. It works better and is more convenient than any bulky silicon grip that you’ll find. It also doesn’t rip apart like those grips because of the metal. It feels freeing to not worry about dropping the controllers. I think I have dropped the quest 3 controllers a total of four times on the first day I got them, I never dropped the quest 2 controllers but something about the quest 3 controllers make them difficult to hold. Since I put these on, I haven’t dropped the controllers even once. :) ... show more

I was admittedly having a hard time adjusting to the straps because of my thicker hands, and I almost lowered my score because of it. Your mileage may vary, but I managed to make it work hence my 5 star rating. It’s high quality construction with great feeling velcro and it feels pretty secure with the proper adjustments. I love that the color matches my overall setup as of today. Some might wish for a silicone grip on the battery door, but again adjusting the strap properly greatly reduces that potential need for me and feels pretty good. If you don't care about having a grippy cover added to the hand strap and you don't have especially small hands, just go for it. These are well-made and I have a feeling would work for a lot of people's needs. I recommend installing them differently than the instructions say - take the the strap out of the metal bit, slip the metal bit into the wrist strap spot, put the battery cover on, and then slip the strap back into the metal bit and adjust to fit each hand. I don't mind much that these don't have an additional cover for grip, but it is a bit of an issue for me because I have fairly small hands for an adult. Because of that, it's difficult to get my hand to fit on these in a way the I can reach the triggers and the B/Y buttons at the same time. However it's worth noting that I've had trouble with this with all hand straps like this I've tried for my Quest 3 so it's not just a fault of this product. If I could change one thing to make it a little easier for me to reach, I'd pick swapping the actual strap for something more like a soft fabric that's a bit stretchy, but again, I think these would work very well for most people especially at the price. ... show more

You're not gonna get alot of bells and whistles for this price, but it works perfectly fine. Admittedly I got these just as a stepping stone until I can buy more expensive grips, but frankly these work so well I'm in no hurry. Easy to attach, easy to reposition, and even has enough space for my weighted gloves, which are quite bulky. If you're on a budget or just need grips asap, this is the pick. ... show more

Title says it all. Constructed in the same way and functions on the same design principles as Meta’s OEM Active Straps. The metal bracket is slightly larger, but still fits within the OEM Quest 3 Storage Case. If you don’t want to spend the $40 for Meta’s OEM part, this is absolutely the next best thing. I bought both. Ultimately, it was so close (physically/visually/functionally), that saving $30 was a no-brainer. ... show more
