  • Performed as described.
Worked as well as the more expensive Tapcon brand.

  • The Phillips head screws are better than hex head
The Phillip head screws are much better than the hex head type. The included drill bit lasted 5 seconds before it smoked. The screws held tight.

  • Unreliable compared to tapcons
These are nearly impossible to drive all the way into concrete. I bought a box and used them to secure 2x4s and they seemed difficult, but not too terrible. The impact driver would frequently jump out of the screw. Months later, I then tried to secure an elfa top bracket into concrete, which means driving it 1.5" deeper than before. EVERY single screw either stopped driving or the impact driver jumped out. I am doing everything I did with tapcon. I drill with a 3/16" SDS bit an inch deeper than the screw then vacuum out the hole. I then drive the screw with a square bit using a newer high end DeWalt impact driver set on the 2nd speed. Tapcons weren't easy, but weren't THAT much worse than wood screws. These, I have to lean into the driver an unsafe degree. I tried using new screw bits and the fancy impact bits, just lots of frustration and marks on the wall from when the impact driver jumped out of the screw. I tried varying the speed, but with confast, the impact driver is either going too slow to move or the driver jumps out of the screw head and damages everything. I gave up in frustration and bought a box of tapcons and was able to finish the job with no drama, maybe 1 screw jump total out of 10 instead of 3x per screw. I ruined like 6 screw bits and probably 15 screws messing around with CONFAST...not the biggest of deals, but nothing I've ever seen before. So if you're buying CONFAST, only drive small screws. Also, buy a ton more than you actually need and only use them on things you want to mount the wall that you're not worried about damaging when they seize up in your wall and your impact driver jumps out. ... show more

  • Excellent quality and very strong
These are excellent quality screws for concrete work. Drilled the 3/16” hole with my hammer drill and they screwed right in. Did about 45 and not a single one broke or stripped the head. I will say that although the drill bit came with the screws it is not a high quality bit. So if you are going to be drilling a lot of holes you would do well to purchase a higher quality bit. After about 20 holes I noticed it did not cut into the concrete as well. I changed the bit and I was back in business. ... show more

  • Very Satisfies
Received a 100 batch of the 1/4" x 2 /34" concrete screws...have not utilized yet, however, they sure look good...came with a drill bit, too. Arrived in a timely manner, very pleased.

  • Worked Great
Purchased a 100 for just a little more than you can buy 25 Tapcon's. Did not use the supplied bit because I needed a longer bit. Used to mount shutters to a brick wall. I used a 20v Dewalt hammer drill, and set the screw using the 20v impact. Worked like a charm. Be sure if you get the Phillips head fastener that you use a #3 Phillips bit or you stand a good chance of stripping the head. ... show more

  • Work awesome!
Ive been using these fasteners for years and they never fail to get the job done! I have no complaints about them. If you need to fasten something into masonry these will be what you want!

  • Great
Yea they really do hold strong. But I cant seem to get them to go all the way into the concrete. It goes in deep and leave 1" sticking out, so the screw does not seat. i'm not sure whats the problem here .. I checked the depths of the holes and they are deep enough to hold the full length of the screw. ... show more
