Was using these to attach adjustable metal stair baluster to existing railing and bottom plate. I'm not sure the type of wood I was screwing these into but the heads broke off of more that I'd like. Its very inconvenient because if that's the spot you need for level, now what? Next important project, I'll use drywall screws. ... show more
