Description

This contractor dual-component FLEXKIT-1150 includes all you need to repair hairline cracks in below-grade foundations and concrete structures. It works whether they are wet, or actively leaking. We includes only the highest- quality concrete crack repair materials in its repair kits in order to insure that you successfully fill in cracks completely from the inside of the foundation wall through to the outside. The resin sets fast to form a complete seal throughout the entire thickness of a concrete foundation wall which expands 400% to 600% and cures as a flexible, yet tough, closed-cell foam. The seal will withstand concrete cracking and shifting as the result of thermal cycles, due to its excellent bonding capabilities. CONTENTS: 1 Dual-Cartrige Injection Gun, 1 Flexomeric FLEX-1150 Polyurethane Flexible Crack Repair Resin, 1 Flexomeric Crack Adhesive (Part A), 1 Flexomeric Crack Adhesive (Part B), 2 FLEXMIXER-500 (Static Mixer), 1 FLEXNUT-550 (Retaining Nut), 12 Injection Ports and Caps, 2 Mixing Sticks, 2 Pairs of Gloves, 1 Plastic Trowel for Adhesive, 1 Wire Brush, 1 Safety Glasses, 1 Instruction Sheet. REQUIRED TOOLS: Standard, Dual-Component Injection Gun (Included in this kit), Spray bottle or squirt bottle for flushing crack with water, Piece of cardboard to use for mixing adhesive Part A with Part B.

The 2 cylinders are heavy while holding up & swizzling the trigger can be exhausting. Make sure to have gloves on & paper towels around the outlets before taking the tube off. Masks on, floor covered with plastic too!! Read all directions before starting.

I was really excited to use this kit on a customer's cracked monolithic foundation wall, it worked as described, the only issue I has, which became catastrophic was after the first 3 plugs, the foam started setting in the nozzle, had to quick change it out, working faster this time, got an additional 5 plugs, and then the same issue occurred, luckily I bought a different kit for an adjacent crack, and it's chemical reaction was a lot slower allowing me to finish off my initial repair, and lasted long enough to proceed to the other crack. Like I said, it got the job done, but would advise ordering at least 3 extra mixer injection nozzles ... show more

The epoxy used to attach the injection ports and cover the crack surface needs to come in a larger quantity. For my situation I barely had enough to complete the job.
