Description

This contractor dual-component FLEXKIT-1050 includes all you need to repair dry, wet, or actively leaking cracks, joints, and various voids in below-grade foundations and concrete structures. We includes only the highest-quality concrete crack repair materials in its repair kits in order to insure that you successfully fill in cracks completely from the inside of the foundation wall through to the outside. The resin sets fast to form a complete seal throughout the entire thickness of a concrete foundation wall which expands 400% to 600% and cures as a flexible, yet tough, closed-cell foam. The seal will withstand concrete cracking and shifting as the result of thermal cycles, due to its excellent bonding capabilities. CONTENTS: 1 Dual-Cartrige Injection Gun, 2 Flexomeric FLEX-1050 Polyurethane Flexible Crack Repair Resin, 2 Flexomeric Crack Adhesive (Part A), 2 Flexomeric Crack Adhesive (Part B), 3 FLEXMIXER-500 (Static Mixer), 2 FLEXNUT-550 (Retaining Nut), 24 Injection Ports and Caps, 4 Mixing Sticks, 4 Pairs of Gloves, 2 Plastic Trowel for Adhesive, 1 Wire Brush, 1 Safety Glasses, 1 Instruction Sheet. • It works and seals leaks in basement walls.
Pattern Name: 20'
It is a very helpful package for our basement repairs from numerous storms. Our water table was full in Kansas from almost endless downpours and our basement needed sealing up. So far in the last 2 weeks the mortar epoxy mix has sealed up our cracks very well but we had to do layers of it. The tubes with mix do not mix when applying as it says but we found the mortar mix in the jars were the best application. The kit is about the best you can buy if you have several places needing good solid repair. We would buy it again if we need to. ... show more

  • Unimpressive & Costly
Pattern Name: 30'
I purchased this (triple pack) to repair several cracks in my foundation prior to basement renovations. First off, the advertised "up to 5/16th" repair is a blatant exaggeration! The problem with repairing larger cracks comes with the preparation of the A & B compounds. You'll run out of one quicker than the other and I've tried various portion differences along with the recommended one and all had similar results. This part is relatively quick drying but how it dries creates issues as it fills a lot of the crack prior to applying the actual product. It tends to drip in. Also for foundation work, you'll quickly go through this product so it doesn't last long at all. One double tube gives the impression of half a single tube but it's extremely runny. Watching videos about the application of this product are far more helpful than the instructions the company provides. This is a very very very messy product (all parts) so have a few extra pairs of disposable gloves ready if you do buy it. Even if you're careful, you'll still make a mess. Ultimately, I tried a $9 two part caulking tube product of epoxy from a box store and it dries like a rock. I wish I widened the base of the cracks a little and just forced it into the cracks rather than buy this Flexomeric product. I thought I was doing the right thing but I was wrong. Live and learn. If I had to do it all over again, I wish I initially tried the single pack to see if I liked it. Now I'm out about $330. I don't recommend this product. ... show more

  • Call to clarify instructions, they are more than helpful.
Pattern Name: 20'
So far so good, the weather has been dry. I will find out in the spring. It does seem that the cured foam should be plenty flexible enough to be a good gasket. I made a mess and the spillage did expand about 5X or more, as I expected. I used to work in a automotive seat foam factory, but there was no way of using this in a DIY application. Having a way to inject into the crack is crucial. Good idea. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money on this product
I consider myself a very handy person, I should pay more attention to others reviews but instead I thought I was able to handle this product. I followed all directions, I also went to the product website and followed one excellent video showing step by step how to use the product. Everything went well until the time to inject the foam came thru, big mess and a total disaster; the tube got clogged on the third hole, then the second injection attachment lasted three more injection points... that was it . Very frustrated. ... show more

Holy MESS!!! Waiting to see results. If it works I wont mind the mess it was. I'll update later. UPDATE! It works great! No more leaks! So if you don't mind a little mess it's great!
