I purchased one of these desks for a college apt. I needed something to go in the bedroom that would not be bulky and still make the room feel open and not so cluttered. I was hesitate since I was not able to see it in person but decided to take a chance since I could get it quickly and it looked great. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to put together. It is sturdy and you can easily put a file cabinet underneath but there is plenty of room on top as well. Just what we needed in our RV to replace the dining table. Works great for a work station or dining. Two people can sit next to eachother with plenty of room. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. This desk satisfied in every way. There are cheaper desks on the market, but this desk more than earns its extra price. Rock solid, easy assembly, feet allow for microadjustments. I have a dual 32-inch clamp monitor stand, which it handles just fine. We bought 4, no quality issues. Looks modern and expensive. I did not mind the feel or hollowness of the desktop.     • Nice design, but light weight
The top is hollow and light weight with a textured print of 'wood'. This table top really isn't wood, and it's not solid MDF either as described. Because of this, any scratch or scuff is really going to ruin the look. The frame metal is thin steel, so thin that as you assemble it, you can actually bend the material. While it looks like heavy duty structural square steel, it is not. In fact I wouldn't expect this table to hold much more than 100lbs. The table is stable enough. I took me 30 minutes to assemble, and comes in a flat box. The instructions are ok, but only line art. All the parts were there, and they supply a useless set of allen wrenches. While my box was damaged, the table and frame seemed ok. One nice thing was this was delivered for free within 3 days. The metal frame should be heavier gauge steel and the tabletop should be solid. Ideally, it would be nice to have a wooden hardwood table top option. It's biggest plus is it's a nice design, and looks great.. ... show more

    • Sturdy and easy to assemble
I bought my son a desk similar to this by the same brand and it was so easy to assemble that I bought this one for the guest room at my new house. It's not fancy but it looks nice. It's very sturdy and was very easy to assemble. Took me about 10 minutes to put together.

As someone who is 6'2, I was a little concerned buying a desk online without being able to sit at it. The price on this desk was too good to pass up though, so I took the risk and bought 2 for my girlfriend and I. They were super easy to build, they're super sturdy, and I had zero issues with my legs/knees fitting under it. Looks clean and super easy to assemble. Not a super high quality product but great for the price. Using it as a desk in a teen's room for school for home purposes. Very light but sturdy. Won't hold up to a lot of weight or mishandling. Great looks for the price point.
