I read that this pair of mic's receiver can't fit on the iPhone without removing the phone's cover, but the customer praise here for this Comica is so profuse that I bought the pair anyway. I got it today. The sound is great, the two stereo tracks show up fine on my Hindenburg app, and the connection between the receiver and my phone is no less secure for having my phone's cover on. You can see from one of the photos attached to this review that the male lightning piece is mounted to a small oval that protrudes a little from the receiver. When I put the receiver on the phone without the phone case, the oval creates space between the receiver and the phone. When I put the receiver on the phone with the case, the receiver is flush against my phone's case. Your case has to be thin on the speaker end of your phone, and your case has to have a big-enough cutout for the oval to rest against your phone. You can see from the attached photos that my phone's case meets these two qualifications. (The case is a Mujjo leather model with a slot on the back for a driver's license and a credit card.) Some other matters. The entire system is impossibly small and well designed. It's too small to include room for the two wires and the two wind muffs, however. But the whole thing comes in a fairly small box to store the system, the wires, and the muffs. The box is sturdy and attractive, and it snaps closed with a magnet. As far as this packaging goes, it's like getting a new Apple Watch or iPhone at a fraction of the price. And get this: the user manual is succinct yet thorough, and it's also completely understandable. Also, the manual's words and pictures find their home with each other. The manual is no afterthought. A rare and wonderful experience. I had to return my $25 pair of lavs (the instructions were confusing; one of the mics came broken), and to me the Comica is worth the extra cost. ... show more

This is a great quality mic that works well with my Galaxy S21 Ultra. It's easy to set up and use. The sound quality is very good. The case is nice. It comes with two mics and one receiver. The case has a digital display that shows the battery life. There are two USB TYPE C charging ports, one on the case and one on the receiver, so that it can be charged while in use. The charging port can also be used to monitor sound. The orange dial is the volume control. It has a stereo and mono setting for recording. One thing to note, you do have to plug the receiver out after recording to hear the audio playback. I am very happy with this mic and I recommend it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is an overall great wireless microphone system for your smartphones. It's compact and super lightweight. The receiver plugs right into your phone so you don't have to worry about having some extra cables to connect your phone to the mic system. It is very easy to pair. I was able to get the transmitter and receiver to connect with no problem. Once the two were connected, the only thing I had to do to get the audio to work was open my voice memo app. I didn't get too much of that static noise which is a definite plus. Some of the cons I think: no way to see the audio level on the mic. I also wish I could magnetically clip the transmitter to my shirts instead of just a clip. Not necessarily a con, but I wish there was a lavalier port, but I can understand why there isn't one. Overall, I highly recommend this microphone system if you're looking for something that won't break the bank and will still provide you with great audio. This is an awesome return in Quality for the price. It works great with my phone, my M1 iPad Pro, and my m1 MacBook Pro! Love how small the microphones are compared to the Rode Wireless Go system, and the gain dial that is so easy to reach and adjust when you are in the middle of a livestream, recording, or video call. Battery life is crazy good and the fact the the case is a charger too! I also really love that the case holds the mics magnetically so they don’t fall out if you struggle to grab small objects on the fly like I do!!! For this price…I am so impressed! ... show more

This product was created with the one thought of making a buck! This is Trash!!! Do not waste your money on this product! The receiver part does not stay in the iPhone. You can "blow" on it and it "pops" out. Unbelievable! The instruction is too small to read due to the font size used. Also, it's not printed black enough on the white background. No instructions on how to charge it and for how long. The instructions said it was paired at the factory. Bull hockey! No instructions on how to pair the mics to the receiver. I'm getting my money back ASAP!!! ... show more

    • Battery life is lacking, Sound is great but only in line of sight

Overall this is a great product, you plug it in and it works. But there are a couple of drawbacks I wish I knew beforehand #1 - The battery life is really more like 1.5 hours on the transmitter. This is annoying because I'll be recording a golf session and on hole 14 it just dies. Then if you want to charge it up, it takes forever for the case to recharge the transmitter, like 2 hours. The battery pass through Type C does not help with extending the battery of the transmitter either, just your phone or camera, which would have been an ok fix. #2 - The sound is great... Only if you have a direct line of sight though. You can be 100 ft away across a field and get great sound. But if you turn your back 5 ft from your transmitter it will be crackles and be inconsistent. This is also annoying. The bottom line is, would I buy it again? Probably not, however, if your activities don't have these limitations, its a great device and at a great price ... show more
