Most comfortable brace I have ever worn. This is a good brace, not a firm brace, but a medium support. The fit is perfect, it's light weight, east to tighten/loosen with the metal rings. This can get just a touch warm when doing yardwork in warm weather, but still comfortable. Very comfortable to drive with, & you can exercise in this without any discomfort. I have a narrowing spine, degenerate disk desease, 3 ruptured disks, and had 2 back surgeries. This is easy to wear, it helps with housework, doing dishes, etc. However, I do need a firmer support due to my narrowing spine if I am going to be on my feet for a long while. This brace is perfect for many back ailments, and I don't believe you could find another brace that will be as comfortable as this. If you do have narrowing of the spine, you might need a firmer brace with metal supports. This is a great brace and I highly recomend it. ... show more

Nothing will remove lower back pain. Ibuprofen can help. This helps me more than any pill. It is quality built and will last a lifetime. I doubt the elasticity will ever reduce with time. There is a removable and rotatable lumbar pad which fits between the main apparatus which can be Velcro fastened in any position horizontal or vertical. The tightness is adjusted to any strength when you fasten it around your waist by just using the large velcro pads. And then further tightness is adjusted tighter by pulling on large metal D rings connected to two smaller velcro pads (one on each side). This second adjustment is very easy and fast to do and will be done as you change positions such as standing or sitting or when you want to lift something. It is worth much more than what I paid ($35) as it makes life with back pain bearable. My pains are only present every few months and then I get out this apparatus for relief. In my opinion it works better than pain pills, ice pads, heat pads. Although all of those help too. Really this thing is a miracle that was not available before elastic and velcro was invented. ... show more

I received the ComfyMed on the exact date of promised delivery. I have worn it 3x's and at this point there have not been a problem. It is comfortable and gives my back adequate support. I have a problem with L-4 and L-5. I was told by the doctor that I have some shifting of the spine but I will admit once I put the brace on, my spine immediately straightens and I get better posture. I am still feeling pain, not when I wear the brace but upon removal. I still gave pain first thing in the I received the ComfyMed on the exact date of promised delivery. I have worn it 3x's and at this point there have not been a problem. It is comfortable and gives my back adequate support. I have a problem with L-4 and L-5. I was told by the doctor that I have some shifting of the spine but I will admit once I put the brace on, my spine immediately straightens and I get better posture. I have been looking for a back support belt for my mum who suffers from siactic injuries for a long time. She had some sessions of physiotherapy in the past which did provide effective pain relief in a short term. But later on she had to rely on strong medication and prednisone injections on a regular basis. She also tried quite a few other belts but was not happy with any of them. Either the size doesn't fit as it claimed or it didn't give enough support. Out of curiosity, i bought this newly-listed belt for another trial. Quite surprisingly, both mum and i are astonished by its quality!! You put on the brace like a belt. You can just feel the premium thick fluffy and stretchy material is doing something to your body. After strapping up the outside elastic, you just feel like you are totally in another world. The belt doesn't roll. Very well-shaped front doesn't cause any discomfort to your abdomen yet the wide back of the belt with back bones inside gives you very strong support and tight feeling. Also one more thing worth mentioning is the steel ring takes it so much easier to put on and take off the belt. It is a very smart design. Anyway, mum is happy so i am very happy too. Wayyyyyyy better than the first one I bought! In fact, this brace is great. I have lumbar stenosis and scoliosis which causes a lot of pain and instability in my spine. After one failed surgery, I am trying anything to avoid another surgery. The first brace I bought was too narrow, and too small even though I got the correct size according to the web page. That brace was basically useless. So, my hopes weren't too high. First of all I received an email with a link to a Youtube video for correct wear. WATCH it!!! Easy. Then I got the brace. Superb. construction and REAL support. It is wide enough to allow you to sit and move about, and infinitely adjustable. I am so pleased, and I am not easily pleased! I know it is not a cure all, but it will help to allow me to garden and walk for exercise. Keep doing your abdominal exercises and wear this for a few hours a day. I hope it works for all who are in pain. ... show more
