The media could not be loaded. Got this for our backyard as Spring is here and so do the leaves on the trees. Considering this for the price factor and this is very good for garden needs. Overall functional & would highly recommend it for its price.     • Made thatching Much Easier
The handle segments thread together and one joint on my rake stripped when I assembled it. I used a layer of Teflon tape made for threaded pipe joints and it fixed it. The raked worked perfectly for thatching my small yard. Included was a hand rake that is very useful too.

    • Good rake; not so good handle.
The rake works well but, only after a few hours of use, the top joint of the handle loosens up every few strokes. I drilled and installed screws to keep it together. I probably will have to the other joints as well.

Finally learned how to de-thatch our lawn. So glad was able to find something affordable and well made here on Amazon. Lightweight and don't need to put a lot of pressure, best to think of it as combing out the lawn. First used a heavy duty rake then came back with this, doing several different passes. A bit flimsy, and one section of handle doesn't catch. Had to duct tape it to hold. It's the right size and angle and tip for dethatching, just don't expect too much & be prepared for a little DIY repair.

A solid handled rake is the best. I should’ve known better ordering a rake that had to be put together. It is flimsy and I do not use it. I went and bought a solid handled rake to replace it.

    • It works.
It works and it’s work. The rake was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough to get the job done. It does remove thatch and lots of it. It may also pull up some live grass but not a lot. I like this rake it’s built well and works and I expect it to last many years.

    • A fabulous rake superior to older style detaching rakes
It is lightweight and easy to assemble. It is far more efficient that old style rakes for detaching dead grass and does less harm to the good grass or turf. You will not regret buying this rake.
