This came in several pieces that you have to put together, but when all said and done. It is pretty sturdy. I never a fan for the nuts and bolts that are provided with any product, so I just replaced mine for some that won’t rust and will out live me. As far as the actual use, I found it to glide right across and leveled my lawn quite nicely. I really look forward to next spring when I can get a full season with this bad boy. This does what it’s supposed to do. Simply. It is a bit heavy but that is the nature of the item. Easily leveled the dirt that I put down with a few back and forth motions and built solid enough to last many many uses as well as any abuse it may go through in storage. It's quality is pretty good. It performs well even on the uneven land. The size I bought is 45X10 inches. It has a large flat surface. This saves me a lot of time when I need to level a large area of ground. It uses a 71-inch long handle. It really saves a lot of effort. This rake was easy to assemble with only four primary parts to put together. This rake rake is make with heavy gauge metal and it is very durable and heavy-duty tool. I have initially used this rake to level off a large area in which I built a shed. I was impressed on how well this rake worked in help leveling off the ground. As noted in the rake directions, I did have to separately clear any rocks & roots when I came upon them. We had work done in our yard which caused a section to become uneven and bumpy. My husband is a real stickler for his lawn, wanting it as perfect as he can get it. After consulting a few gardening sites, he began his search for a leveling rake. This leveling rake is top notch. It is well made of a sturdy metal which has been powered coated to prevent rust. The rake is constructed of solid bars rather than having grooves where debris would settle. The flat solid bars also added weight making it heavy which is better for compacting that soil or sand you use to fill the dips in the lawn. There is an extra long handle that you will need to secure (tools provided) together with screws (provided). The long handle gives you a longer reach so that is a huge bonus. It was easy to put together and even easier to use. He spread the fill and with a few passes, the ground was leveled. In summary this is a quality, efficient tool! This lawn leveling rake is great for more than just fixing the horrible mole-hills that have sprouted in my lawn. It also works well on my gravel driveway to fill in the divots in the driveway as well. I also look forward to using it next spring for mulch spreading. Assembly was a little trying; the handle segments didn't quite fit together smoothly. It took a bit of finagling to get the parts to go together so the mounting holes were aligned. I was very happy to see that the manufacturer included a pair of crescent wrenches to help secure the screws from both sides. They also included plenty of spare parts, and used lock nuts to prevent anything from falling apart.
