This tablet has good features that make it a nice entry-level tablet for children. The case it comes in is a soft silicone with handles on each side. It would be easy for a toddler to hold onto. The case also functions as a stand, which keeps the tablet upright and at a slight backward angle, good for reading while it is resting on a table. The battery life is not that great, in my experience. The battery lasts less than 6 hours. But, you don't normally want kids on a screened device for that long anyway, so it's not a problem. The tablet comes with many kid-friendly apps already installed. It is ready to use right out of the box. You can set up parental controls too. Apps are easy to get in the play store. The touch screen works fine and kids will have no problem learning how to use it once they learn how to navigate the various apps. It comes with Android 11 as the default operating system. The screen is not super bright. It can be hard to see it outdoors in the sun. It is fine indoors though. The speakers work great, so you can play movies or music on it. The one issue I found with this is that the included charging cable was defective. When I plugged it in, the cable would fall out of the tablet. Luckily, most of us have plenty of USB-C charging cables on hand. I just switched to a different cable and it worked fine. So we've only had this tablet for about a week but so far so good. It was easy to set up decent sound quality camera is okay not the best but for a kid it's good enough has a decent amount of storage so far. My son has installed about maybe five or six different apps he uses them often and so far it hasn't crashed Frozen or kicked him off of anything as he uses it throughout the days and weeks if there's any update or changes I would definitely post I think it's pretty good for young kids and the handles are decent also. I feel like the handles themselves are a bit big it tends to make the tablet feel kind of bulky which is okay I guess for a little ones but for my first grader sometimes it can be a bit annoying for him. But again so far so good just going off of how well it runs quality Etc I'm giving this four stars. Only small negative that I have to say is the way this stands up I like that it's a little bit angled but unfortunately it does fall over quite a bit and quite easily all it takes is a little shake or a tiny little touch or move and it will fall over quite easily so something to keep in mind when you want to have the standing up ... show more

    • Kind of slow, but it's a kid tablet.

The media could not be loaded. I've had it for a while and only charged it once. It kept the charge, so the charge is pretty good. The size is pretty good. I love the cover on it. The performance is not that good, it's kind of slow. But that's to be expected, I guess for a kid tablet.

So far this seems like it will work well for our little one. Setting it up was simple and paired with google's family controls. These allow use to limit access to content and monitor activity. The built in "kids space" is nice enabling us to define the environment and accessible apps. Now breaking down the overall tablet: Pros: - Appropriate size and portable - Snappy enough for its intended use - Overall feels durable and came with a screen protector (installed separately) - The case - looks and feels nice. the feet enable to be positioned upright for hands free viewing Neutral: - The case - it's fairly easy to remove. This is natural because, while this might help cleaning, I can see myself needing to put this back on often and the little one removes it. Cons: - Speaker placement - it's on the back and fires towards the back. It's lound, but I wish the case "ducted" the sound around front. - Screen - I debeated this as it's a kids tablet. We're not watching 4k cinema. However, while the resolution is adequate, the viewing angle is atrocious. When viewed head on, it's fine. As soon as you start to deviate from head on, the colors quickly lose saturation to the point they invert at you approach 75 degrees off center. Bottom line; for the price you'll be hard pressed to find 3gb of ram (which I feel is the floor for contemporary operating systems) in a robust little package. ... show more
