Ordered this counter cabinet for my 91 y/o mom who recently moved in with us. I needed something that would hold all of her medications, lotions, etc. This small cabinet holds a lot and will work with any decor. It's a small cabinet/shelf. Made of cheap wood with glass windows on both doors. You can set it on top of your kitchen counter, it's the right size to hold two 20-count boxes of teabags or a few bottles of herbs and spices. You can put it on top of your nightstand, store your morning/nighttime medicines or vitamins in there. You can put it on a wall-mounted shelf, display some small antiques or something like that. Whatever. The paint is very thin, and has been intentionally stressed to give it a slightly worn/weathered look. This has an adverse effect of making the unit much more susceptible to warping from high humidity conditions, or being attacked by pests like termites or carpenter ants, and any scratches or dings from minor damage you might incur over the years will be plainly visible. So yeah it's cute, but treat it GENTLY for best results. Or, if you're feeling creative/handy, you can paint over it yourself with another coat... then you can choose your color scheme and everything. It comes FULLY ASSEMBLED. No tools needed, no cam bolts or screws to mess with. Just pull it out of the box and you're good to go. As I said it is SMALL. Smaller than it "looks" in the product photos but the posted dimensions are correct. So don't think you're getting a full sized cabinet here... it's roughly a foot long by six inches deep by six inches tall... or so. (I'm estimating, my tape measure is still in storage since my recent move to a new home.) My point is: it won't fit a family-sized box of Cheerios, but it will hold a single-serving box of Cheerios. Just be aware that it is the size LISTED IN THE AD when you decide whether to buy it or not. ... show more

This is insanely perfect.. cute little cupboard and exactly as described.. smells like cedar wood as there is a little patch of fragrance in a plastic bag that comes with it attached to the door.. so you can put it into the cabinet if you want.. just delightful.. thank you.

The media could not be loaded. A quick caveat, the mounting angles at the bottom of the cabinet are of a different source that I used to mount in my workshop. They do not come with the cabinet. The Collective Home 24" Storage Cabinet is excellent in construction. The only thing I changed, besides what I already mentioned above, is the pulls. I replaced them since I didnt completely trust the ones that came with the cabinet. Ill post where to buy the pulls at the bottom. I needed a cabinet to keep 'sharps' and fragile glass items out of the reach of my children. This works perfectly. It's perfectly sturdy - thats not why I reinforced the bottom with mounting brackets. I did that because I tend to 'overdo' wall mounting in my shop (no kill like overkill). I was actually impressed with the hardwood construction. It's not exactly cheap, but thats fine because the craftsmanship and quality are excellent. If I need another, for any purpose, I'd buy it again. This cabinet looks much nicer on the pictures than reality. I had to return it because it arrived with the wood split/broken on the roof of the cabinet. The right side door unhinged and some loose screws/hinges inside. Chemical smell also strong. The wood used and opaque stain are not very good quality. ... show more
