I actually very much like this desk. Its design is simple only 2 sizes of screws that you can use an included tool to tighten. I was able to put it together in about 10 minutes by myself. The hardest part was putting the top on. I ended up putting it across a sofa. This put it at a easier level to work on than doing it on the floor. Then I just flipped it over. This is not really a desk for a small space. it is to long to be considered SMALL. That said with a length of 55 inches I would have thought it would at least be 24 inches deep. That was on me though I should have looked closer at the listing. It is light enough to move without a problem however seems more than stable enough. The directions give it a 110-pound weight limit. Given the build quality. I would trust that figure. If you plan to add more consider adding an extra support brace under it. near the front and back. I did leave the headphone hook off. Personally, I think that is a bit of a waste. The one thing I would STRONGLY suggest. If you have floors that are easily scratched. Get some pads for the floor legs. The feet on this one are ok for leveling purposes. However they are just molded plastic without any felt or anything on the bottom so they could gouge or scratch some flooring types. While I do plan to use this for a computer desk. It would also make a great counter table up against a wall to put things like a microwave or appliances on if you don't have enough counter space in your kitchen. ... show more

Nothing was wrong with the desk, its parts, or its packaging. The price point is more than fair for this. Assembly was not hard at all. I was able to do it myself with no issues. The five-page instruction booklet was nicely laid out and easy to follow. Corresponding letters and numbers on the parts were a plus for me. The letter and number stickers lifted right off the pieces - no sticky glue. I think it would take up too much space in a dorm, loft or studio apartments. It is sturdy and beautiful. I just built the table! & it’s pretty good ! It’s sturdy enough but not solid. It’s good for a business/ student table but I wouldn’t put nothing heavy on it. But if I do I’ll write another review & let you know how it goes. It was VERY EASY to assemble. My nephew & I put it together under 30 mins & he’s 7. But for 100 dollars… I would’ve expected a little more. Maybe 50-80 would be a better price for this table. But other than that it’s pretty good ... show more

I had a small desk and purchased this one to make a L shaped desk without breaking the bank. It was easy to put together. Very sturdy and Tip for those that said it was wobbly. The end caps has to be adjusted to the same height. I found that hard. So I made them all the same by screwing them down as far as they would go and it's great. I love the finish on it. Looks better that the surface on my older one. I would definitely recommend and purchase again if need be. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

I got this for my home office. I have placed this in my bedroom and it fits perfect. It doesnt seem out of place at all. The legs are sturdy. It's easy to put together. It has a head phone stand on the side. It's a good height. I'm 6'3 so this is perfect for me and should fit the average size person just fine. I do wish the wood was a bit thicker (twice as thick). I'm not sure how much weight this could handle. I'm planning to add 2 monitors, and a small laser printer to see how it holds up. ... show more

My daughter lives in an old walk up apartment in the lower east side of nyc. The building is oddly shaped and bedrooms are extremely small. Because she is in grad school she needed a small desk that would fit in her small oddly shaped room. We decided to give this desk a try. It fits perfectly. It is small enough that it fits but large enough that she can sit at it and use her laptop and take notes. The leg room is a little bit tight and the top has a wood looking finish that is very blatantly not real. BUT all and all it is a great little desk for the money and a big success. ... show more
