  • There is an engine you have to maintain.
Previous bad review are people who dont know your supposed to maintain an engine. Yes you put oil and gas in it. Carburetor adjustments are necessary due to weather conditions of location. High humidity low humidity etc. I own both B200R and this bike. Both are excellent. Imagine buying a car and never open the hood, or leave it to someone else. I dropped a 196cc in the bike and never had issues with the stock motor. Coleman does back their product with warranty. Imagine getting 2 lemons from Coleman. Remember there are instructions on how to break in motor properly before jumping on it and gunning the throttle. Great value read instructions before operation helps. ... show more

  • 2 brand new bikes both junk!
Bought 1 for my 13 year old. Out of the box it had a bad gasket and oil went everywhere! No problem, they sent me another one. Told me to keep the first one. Now I have 2. Was super happy at first, but then they both fell apart within 3 months. Screws and bolts falling off constantly. Chain broke on one. Chain keeps coming loose on the other. All the welds broke on the gas tanks on both of them. Brakes went out on one. Now the gasket blew on the second one. Left and right they are a disaster!! And unsafe!! Literally 3 months old and both are garbage!!! ... show more

  • Only but if you’re a mechanic
If you enjoy fixing things, this bike is for you! First time my son wrote it after we put it together, hot oil was spewing all over him. They sent us another one. Thank God they did because almost every part from the other one broke, so we just used the parts from the first bike to put onto the new bike. We got sick of it and finally got rid of it! ... show more

  • Save your money
Bike ran well for about 10 minutes. The carb bowl is riveted, not a single bolt to clean or maintain. Spark plug fouled first day. Good luck getting a warranty, my closest "service center" for Coleman is over an hour away. It's absurd you spend this money and it turns out to be a pile of junk. You're better off buying your own frame with a Preadator 212 engine and doing it yourself so you know it's done right. They build this engine so it can not be serviced by you. Terrible company and worse customer service. ... show more

After the unboxingwith that sweet angle iron Fram to protect was out of the way it was 30 minutes with a couple tools....will be interested in someday putting a bigger motor or taking the spring off the govenor

  • Nice size for younger kids, but poor QC is an issue, and the warranty is SHORT.
The media could not be loaded. I received the Coleman B100, 105cc minibike in mid August and was a bit surprised to find it seems to be private labeled by Coleman-- made and assembled in China with the Coleman label added here. Assembly was straight forward and after adding gas & oil it started right up and ran nicely. Unfortunately, after only 6 or 7 hours, running at half throttle or less (I turned the governor way down for my 8 and 10 year old grand kids) , a gasket on the crank area failed and resulted in an oil leak. When running the oil sprays and bubbles out (see video). Fortunately this happened before the EXTREMELY SHORT three month warranty expired. After contacting Coleman Powersports by phone, I was given a service center that is 40 minutes away, and told I have only five days to transport the unit to them or the warranty repair will not be covered. It is too big for the back of my SUV, and would have stunk it up with gas and leaking oil anyway, so I had to get a trailer to transport it. I just dropped it off today, and I'll try to remember to update this review with the results of the repair. My recommendation is: if you decide to take a chance on one of these, be sure to run it A LOT in the first three months. I only ran mine three times when the grand kids were visiting during the day, AND the weather was nice. It's only by dumb luck that it failed after a few hours and 2.5 months, while still under the 3 mo warranty. Edit. The service center is still waiting for the parts from Coleman powersports to make the repair, but according to the mechanic, the gasket was installed incorrectly, and this is a problem he has seen several times before. I added a couple of pics of the mini bike on the trailer ready for the 45 minute trip to the repair shop. Definitely a PIA for a brand new machine. Edit2: picked up the mini bike, and the service team said it was the gasket that was installed improperly. The repair cost was over half the cost of the bike. The service guy also said Coleman powersports is in chapter 11. Kind of makes sense if they've done a lot of these repairs on brand new mini bikes. Same recommendation. If you buy one of these, run it a lot during the warranty.. ... show more
