Producers can sneak low grade olives from a number of countries and label it as Italian. Quality oil producers use dark metal or dark glass for the oil. No serious producer uses clear plastic or clear glass! If it does not have a harvest date of the bottle, and the bottle is plastic or clear glass, move on! Enjoy and use your olive oil within two to three months. If you see Colivata products in you grocery store, you can rest assured you are selected one of the finest.
