I got this for hunting. I am 5ft 10in with long legs and with the seat all the way down I cannot touch the ground. If I had any thing on the back rack I would not be able to get on. When I come to a stop I have to lean the bike over a lot. On the plus side it preforms outstanding, built very sturdy, every thing works the way it should, a lot of power for hills and the 2 wheel drive really grips the road. ... show more

I bought this bike for my husband for Christmas.He assembled it in one afternoon. He states it has a lot of power and goes up hills easily. Even fairly steep ones. He is more then satisfied with the speed and power of the motor. Frame is sturdy, battery power and endurance seem to be good, but we discovered not to leave it out on the porch when it’s cold or it drains even a fully charged battery. I chose the green and black as It’s a very sharp looking color. The drawbacks are, the height of the bar right in front of the seat. It is so tall that you can’t jump off the seat and straddle touch the ground without hitting your, em…., private parts on the bar. My hubby is 5’8” and he has to tip the bike sideways to dismount. In my opinion, you really should be around 6’ + to be able to dismount the bike the normal way. I’m 5’6” and can’t even mount the bike while it’s standing straight up. While straddling it, I have to stand on tip toes and even then my pubic bone is on the bar. I should have paid more attention to this when I read the listing. I believe the height requirement was mentioned but, said minimum 5’4” so read the details in the listing. I’m sure the 4” tires have something to do with the height as well. If I ever decide to get an e mountain bike for myself, it will be a step through style. I won’t even attempt to ride this one. Overall my husband really enjoys riding it and other than a few minor things like a broken headlight upon delivery and striped screws for the book rack in the back, he is satisfied with it and rides it most every day. ... show more

For the price, the bike is a good value. Just know that you will not be going any faster than 30-31mph and that the real range is closer to 20-25 miles with only a moderate amount of pedaling. I would have spent the extra for the next level of ebike if I had known the real mileage was less than half what they state in the ad. Decent bike but very deceptive claims. This is my first ebike purchase. I went to many different stores shopping around for the best deal but all I could find were ebikes priced between $2000 and $5000. When i went onto Amazon I found many that were in my price range but was very skeptical about buying a $900.00 bike that seemed to have more power, features etc than the expensive bikes. Well I will tell you that I'm so impressed I would be there companys spokesman in the US. I am so very happy with this bike, the power, comfort, easy of riding and looks. 35mph is a fiction, but 30mph is attainable if fresh from full charge. Full suspension is a fiction, rear end is solid. Headlight is excellent but no tail light or even any reflector. Massive wheel reflectors unbalance wheels horribly. Light and horn switch has sharp points that will scrape-cut your thumb knuckle. Seat post is too long, I cut off almost 3 inches so seat could be lowered to comfort level. Battery mount is wobbly. Front wheel spins under throttle heavy take-off. Pedal use on slow turn can engage full throttle. so, ... why still 4 stars ... ? Looks great and has some wonderful features: Excellent packaging; Full fenders; AWD and front motor can be shut off; Hydraulic brakes; Big battery; Nice, big, sturdy rack; Controller can disable PAS system. 50 mile motor only range is a fiction! 80 mile pedal assist range is a fiction! Unless ... speed is regulated to 16mph. (PAS mode 2) 38 and 51 miles range at 20mph. 28 and 33 mile range at 25mph. Much less IF you could maintain 30mph. ... show more
