I mostly drink coffee at work, and use a typical ceramic coffee cup. By the time I am halfway through, the coffee is lukewarm, and by the time it’s near the bottom, it’s cold. I have been seeing “coffee warmers” for years, but didn’t think the USB-plug ones could provide much heat. This one looked interesting because it plugs in and has temperature “NO TOUCH” warnings on it ;-) The unit is about 5” by 6” so it can handle large coffee mugs easily. A circle of writing and hearts on the top indicates where to center the coffee mug. There is another heart that has a blue LED inside of it. On the bottom of the warmer is a pressure switch. It is off, but when you set a mug of coffee on it, gravity presses down and activates the switch and turns on the warming element. It takes awhile to warm up, so initially I thought it wasn’t going to be much of a warmer. But, once it gets hot, it’s HOT to the touch and will keep a drink at a great hot temperature. If you start with a full cup of coffee and set it down between sips, I find it is hot by the time I am halfway through the cup. By the the time I am nearing the end of my cup, it’s still hot. I regret not getting one of these years earlier. If you have access to a coffee machine, but maybe not a nearby microwave to reheat your cold coffee, this is a nice solution. The build quality seems good. The 110 plug in power cable is thick. The enclosure is plastic. I have been using this at work. Even though it automatically turns off when you remove the cup, I make a habit of unplugging it before I leave. I’d hate for someone to drop a package off at my desk and set it on top and activate the heater. It gets quite hot! No complaints. If I run in to any issues with it over coming months, I will edit this review with updates. So far, it’s a game changer for my coffee routine. This has been the first week I haven’t had to drink luke warm or cold coffee, or toss out any. The translated English writing is a bit odd, though. I bought 8 square ones as gifts and recently opened one that was left over. It didn't work so i ordered another one. The new one worked fine for about a week but then stopped working. If I press the button at the bottom it works but not when there is a cup on it. The button on the back probably just needs to stick out more. I then purchased the oval one. It is larger, heats up a lot more and has lasted a few weeks already. I can warm up my mug till it's almost boiling. It does give off a very faint burning smell when the liquid is super hot but nothing serious. 1 stars only for the square one. 5 stars for the oval ... show more

Bought this mug warmer 9/30/2023 and it did not even last one year. Stopped working on 4/27/2024. Enjoyed it while it worked. Irritated that I need to buy another one already. Buyer beware. // 6/24/2024: Customer Service reached out to me to respond to my review and sent me a replacement Coffee Mug Warmer. It appears to be a better quality unit with the bottom button that triggers the heat more durable/heavier than the original unit purchased. Time will tell. The media could not be loaded. I have to deal with lot of emails and phone calls in the morning, and thus, it's never easy to enjoy my coffee in one go. Instead, I have to leave it somewhere, deal with my customer, and then come back to my mug, but of course by that time, it's already cold. Well, no more problem with this cup warmer pad now! It's very simple to use, without any complicated control panel to activate. It turns on as soon as I put my coffee mug on it, and keep it warm, until I am ready to resume drinking, and turns off automatically when the mug is removed. It's made of a lightweight material (mostly plastic), which appears to be still sturdy though. It can get quite hot, so it's not advised to try touching or moving the pad right after removing your cup/mug. Instead, it's better to give it some time to cool down first. The pad design & lovely hearts decoration, is also a good plus if you want to gift it to your loved one. ... show more

(Please see edits at the end) As the title states, it worked fine, at first, but after a couple of weeks of fairly consistent use, it no longer keeps drinks hot... or even warm, for that matter. Pros: It's compact and simple to use Cons: Stemming from being "simple to use" it has no real on/off switch. It has a soft "saftey" switch on the bottom, of which, activates the the hot plate when a beverage cup is placed upon it. The cord length was adequate but could have been a foot longer for a bit more convenience. And last, it simply no longer works well. It doesn't stay or get hot anymore, and thus, no coffee mug nor hot drink container will stay hot or even warm, after only a couple of weeks of use. Edit (11/03/2022): After placing my review I was contacted by the seller and was offered a replacement. I accepted and have recently received that replacement. I will let my mother use this replacement for a couple of weeks before making an official change to the review of the product. However, I'd to give a big thank you to the seller for reaching out and attempting to solve this issue. It is greatly appreciated. If I could give stars to the seller, it would certainly be better than the review of the item, thus far. But, as I stated above, I should have a follow-up review in due time. ... show more
