When I ordered this canopy, it was supposed to take 1-2 weeks to get here. I was pleasantly surprised when it came in just 2 days! I had to wait a few days to put it up because the weather wasn't so good here. When I opened the bag, everything was nicely packaged. When I went to pull the steel frame out of the bag, it was heavy! I am about 100 lbs and was able to lift if with a baby strapped to my back, but it was still very heavy. When I went to open the canopy, I definitely needed a second person. With my old canopy that I used for events it was very light-weight and I could do it on my own... not with this one! The steel frame is probably about twice as thick as my old canopy! When my husband got home he helped me open it. After that, the rest of the steps were very easy. I also really like the velcro on the tent fabric. The velcro is very strategically placed in the corners to keep it on good. I decided to put a couple of the walls up to see how they looked. They were ridiculously easy to put up. There is just a continuous line of velcro on the top of the tent fabric that you can effortlessly hang the wall on. The walls are really easy to attach to each other, as well. When I went to put the tent away, it broke down so easily! I didn't need any help for that! There are little triggers on each of the legs that you hardly have to put any pressure on to release and collapse the height. It was a little tricky to put it back in the carrying bag, but I found the easiest way was to lay the bag flat on the ground with the zipper side up and put it in one end at a time. It took very little adjusting to get the entire frame in. It was a little more difficult to put the rest of the items back in the bag after having taken them all out. I feel that it is that way with every product you open though! This bag has wheels on it, which is probably my favorite feature. The wheels are not cheaply made. In fact, no part of this product seems cheaply made. I'm unsure if the wheels would work on grass but I wouldn't be surprised if they did due to how thick they are. The bag also has 2 thick straps that you can throw it over your shoulder. Very nice, and very well-constructed. I thought it was odd to have people hanging off the frame in the product pictures, but I understand now just how strong and heavy this frame is! I probably could've swung from the bars, though I don't recommend it. My husband is 200+lbs and he could've hung from the frame without doing any harm. I also just want to note that I feel the velcro on the tent top could be an added safety benefit during high winds. Just a theory but I feel the frame is heavy enough that if strong bursts of wind come through, it would detach the velcro before it would pick up the canopy. That's just a theory, I will have to try it during one of my events to be sure. You DO have to purchase weights to go with the canopy. This canopy includes sand bags but no sand. There is a strong smell associated with the canopy fabric. I'm sure it will air out as time goes on. I would've liked to have a separate carrying bag for the accessories like the walls, stakes and ropes, and sand bags. It was much harder getting them back in the bag than it was to get them out, and if someone decides to use the canopy often or for events, the accessories will all have to be taken out and set aside each time, even if someone decides not to use them. For the price, this is a fantastic item. It is on the cheaper end (for the 10x10) and the wall designs and windows make this quite enjoyable for a day at the park or by the pool. Setup was pretty straightforward except for the walls. The walls required some thought as to how the Velcro attached to the frame. Also, one of the window walls was missing a Velcro to attach to the top so it drooped down a bit (but not enough to cause a problem since there were 4 other Velcro's holding the top. The main concerns I had were the height clearance. My family is quite tall and even at maximum height, I would estimate anyone above 5'8" would have to duck to enter which is a bit much. Also, the bag being a carrying bag and not a rolling was unexpected and as far as I could tell, it was near impossible to fit the canopy, the walls, and the sandbag holders all in the bag without ripping it. All in all, it is very worth it for the price and most definitely will fit the average person's needs! ... show more

Setup was easy and fast. I like the looks of it and will be using it often. Only four stars because the handle on the carry bag tore off the first time I picked it up. The canopy itself is fine.

It’s more sturdy than I expected for the price. Setting it up and bringing it down is very easy, and while doing so, the mechanism felt smooth and robust and not something that would break within a few use. I was expecting something that the wind might ruin it because it was really windy when we used the tent. But no. It’s sturdy it holds, the space is just right for the party. There’s no holes. Shade is awesome! I think it’s worth the buy. I hope though that stays like that for a long time.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great popup tent for use as a shade tent. It goes up fairly easy. Although once up - it takes a while to get all 4 side walls in place. It does recommend 2 people put up the tent together and that could make the work go much faster. The velcro system it uses for the side walls is both good and bad at the same time. There is plenty of length on the velcro to position the side screen walls but it can take a while to get them all up and velcro them into place. I wish it had fixed velcro pieces so you could just slap them quickly into a designated place for easier/quicker setup. The white shade canopy is where this thing shines. Should help cut down on the sun/heat and deflect some of the rays while also being water resistant. It held up pretty well in a storm and I saw water just rolling off the tops and sides. The video in this review shows a really windy thunderstorm that had rolled through and wiped the sides around. However, the sandbags provided and the guidelines really helped keep the tent in place even though the side walls were being blown about. The see through windows on both sides of of the shade tent are a nice touch as well. There was some cloth fraying from one of the walls so that could be better. Overall - pretty happy with this product. Unfortunately the popup tent was damaged in the shipping process but I won't fault the manufacturer for that and its not part of my rating for the review. I'll return this as the dent made it difficult to properly lower the tent for storage and get another tent. ... show more
