I bought this for my quest 3 since I had it in the original box it came with. I have a different head strap attached to help with battery life. My quest fits perfectly in this case with that addition to it so if you’re worried about it not fitting you’ll be just fine! I highly recommend it!

The build quality of this case it decent and it's large enough to hold the Quest 3 with an elite-style head strap with built-in battery, as well as the Quest 3 controllers. The mesh pouch in the top gives you a place to carry the charger, extra batteries and either a link cable or the D-Link VR Air Bridge adaptor, which is what I use in place of the link cable. I do have to crank the head strap all the way in to fit it, but it's a good fit overall. On some Quest cases you can inadvertently activate the controllers while in the case. With this case it protects both the grip buttons and the trigger button from being activated unintentionally, so you don't end up with dead batteries by the time you get to your destination. I use the type of hand straps for the controllers that come with their own battery covers and find I need to remove these covers to fit the controllers into their slots, but they're easy enough to take off and put on and I can store the straps in the top mesh pouch with the other stuff. I'm pretty happy with this case for my Quest 3! ... show more

Everything fits in perfectly, including my headset with battery, and I got it for the zipped compartment thinking I could fit my Bluetooth keyboard in there but unfortunately it’s too short for it but I wanted “compact” and that’s why I chose this item so I can’t complain.

Although I would generally say that a hardshell isn't always needed for electronics you're putting in a carrying bag, for a pricey VR headset like mine, I felt it was a must have. This is a wonderful hard shell case and I feel like this has single-handedly given me the ability to stuff it in my car even when I was worried about stuff on top of it.
