Purchased a really expensive messenger bag from Chrome for my husband one year for his birthday. One of the seams split and regular thread just would not pass through one layer of the thick canvas let alone two to stitch the sides together. I gambled and tried this thread as a last resort. I use this thread for hand-sewing, when strong sturdy thread is absolutely essential. The thread cannot be broken with mere hand strength. It doesn't twist nor does it bunch up and knot up like other threads. The thread glides through even the toughest multi-lawyered jobs. Holy heavy-duty thread, Batman. Not great if you are trying to hide the thread on your project because its robust enough to be visible, but is sturdy as hell. Probably the strongest I have ever used for my crafty projects. Would be great for sewing a load-bearing project like a backpack or totebag.
