I am simply in love with this bookshelf! Thank God my daughter was here for the weekend to actually put it together. Not sure I could have done it without botching something. But, she is a pro with this kind of thing and had it complete in about an hour. I measured the space I was going to put it and there was no way. This little wall in my living room was perfect. I now need to locate the rest of my books and will then need another, smaller version to accommodate them all. This is HEAVY. My daughter is strong, I've succumbed to working at a desk for 20 years and middle age. In the end, my son came the next day and they were able to put it into place. Thank christ for children. 💕 I love the bookshelf and am very happy with it. I love these shelves. I have three. They work great for my books and they hold the weight! They were easy to assemble and I had the one for over three years and it's still in great condition. I took the "feet" part off for stablility since my books are pretty heavy.

Great looking bookcase but after about six months of having books and things on it the shelving started to warp and it is now leaning hard to the right. Great bookcase for small knickknacks and small books but don’t recommend putting anything heavy on it.

Great bookcase! It's so beautiful displaying my books and collectibles. It was fairly easy to put together and is quite sturdy. Mine is on carpet so I left the bottom small section off to add stability.

This bookshelf looks great. It was straightforward to assemble, and everything went together easily. You do need to invert it after assembly, so plan ahead on how you will do that, or make sure you have help so that you can right it without damaging it. It is best to anchor it to the wall. More decorative than functional if you are using it in an office...binders and folders cannot fit upright. ... show more

We purchased this for our sons room and didn't want a traditional shelf. this one has a bit of character. You do have to tether it to the wall if on carpet (as ours is) in order for it to be more stable.
