I was on the fence when selecting seating for my glass bar height new table, I almost got the ones that have the hydraulic "up & Down" mechanism but read where eventually most people had issues with them not staying up with extended use. These are super sturdy and came intact with no assembly required which to me a a huge bonus! They easily hold bigger guys (240-ish) with no issues! Ok, I love this purchase but I once again did not use them in the usual way. I wanted a cool modern console table that was longer than usual size so I custom made a top piece out of wood and screwed 2 of these stool bases on for legs. It looks fantastic. ( when I wall mount the TV I will alter the top and widen the leg base. I also plan to buy a gold set and make a dark top for my dining room as a long, narrow sideboard. I hate to waste anything so the cushions we are actually using as floor cushions at present, for when we play games at the coffee table. We slide them under the accent chairs to put them away but I will likely make them into footstools very soon because they would work well for that. ... show more

I needed a stool that would fit in my closet "beauty station" and be the correct height. I was ready to sacrifice style for function but there ended up being no sacrifice at all. Not only is it well made, light (I can lift it with two fingers), sturdy, the perfect counter height, the perfect cushy seat pad, quality stitching, quality materials, balance and stability... it matches my decor perfectly as well. All I have to do when done getting ready for my day is lift it with two fingers to store in the closet and close the door. Done. Love it! Well, they're just okay. If you've got an apartment or rental, then that's fine. I'll probably move them down into my basement bar area, because they're not really "Wow" for the front room for me. Either black or cream/tan would have been a better bang for the buck. They were well-shipped and packaged, yet just look cheap to me. It was probably my own decorating faux pas; this mid-range grey doesn't work for me, and repacking and sending them back would be beyond ridiculous. C'est trop mal. ... show more

Looks cheap and vinyl feels very thin and foam not strong enough. I weight 175# and after sitting one time already ruined the shape of the cushion’s corners. Welding spot is very noticeable and discolored. It gets uncomfy after sitting for a while. It is definitely going back. It doesn’t look like is going to hold up well after a few months. The stool looks great and is very comfortable. The shipping container provides no support to the legs of the stool. So when the box is dropped on a corner, then legs of the stool bend and it no longer sits square on the floor. The picture in this post is on a countertop, perfectly flat. We ordered 3 stools, only one is usable. We've contacted the seller, they responded immediately and told us 24-48 hours to get our replacements on order. We are on day 6 and they will not respond to our requests for updates. We are now asking Amazon to intervene and will stop payment on our credit card until it is resolved. ... show more
