When our fence came down thanks to Irma we had to switch to dog ties outs to give our dogs some daily exercise. We found out that our Golden loves to play with her "sister" dalmatian and will pull up stakes, break tie out cables, and pop open plastic collars to get to her. This collar put an end to the weak buckle popping open issue. I highly recommend it, especially if you have to tie out or have a dog that lunges/pulls when being walked. ... show more

Heavy duty metal buckle, a must if you have a muscular dog. Plastic ones break from fatigue. I have arthritic hands, so this way I can put the collar on with the HEAVY spring clip so she can run to her heart's content in the yard. Recommend for easy on off applications for hard to use chains/cables.
