The coop arrived in great condition. No issues with shipping or receiving. Took all of 20 minutes to build. Super easy and fairly clear directions. Love the color and the sturdiness of the build materials. Had add two additions to the build as what was provided isn't enough. First, like others, we had to add additional ventilation for air flow. It doesn't have enough airflow for the desert as it comes. Second, had to change the mask out for something of a stronger material so that the window can be left open all night without the fear of predation though the weak mesh on the stock window. You need to be a good handyman to make this work. First off, the pieces used to build the panels are poorly measured, poorly cut, and poorly attached. This means the panels fit together poorly, making the entire process far more difficult. Plus, they use cheap square-drive screws for assembly, when Torx type are much better. Also, there are nowhere near enough of them, and many need to be longer. By adding probably 40 deck screws, from 3.5 to 6", I was able to make the house far more rigid in spite of the poorly fitting panels. Also, the bottom skids are not Pressure Treated wood, which is stupid, since it is in full contact with the ground. There was also some minor damage to the trim in shipping. And that trim is cheap, fake wood. Without the extra work, it might of lasted 5 years. I would now expect 15-20 years. In summary, they could make this a 5 Star house with a few minor changes and some quality control!! ... show more
