  • Sewing tool I didn’t know I needed but now use
Size: 100
I have returned to sewing after a 20+ year break. I had a rudimentary understanding of basic sewing. I’ve watched some great videos and it was recommended I get some silk pins to work with sheer fabrics/fabrics that I didn’t want to tear/snag with pins. The pins are very sharp. I did accidentally knock the pin box off my table. These pins are harder to find if spilled as they are light/scatter out. I’m looking at a different container to hold them that would be easier for me to open with arthritis. I would recommend this product and would purchase again if needed. ... show more

  • so there isn't much need to firmly support the fabric on the other side like the cheapie pins
Size: 100
The bee's knees. Sharper than run of the mill pins. Whew! These go through the fabric smoothly and effortlessly, so there isn't much need to firmly support the fabric on the other side like the cheapie pins. It has caught me off-guard several times and found that they do not discriminate between fingers and fabric - ouch! Great product. ... show more

  • Way better than the cheap pins
Size: 100
New to piecework, I bought cheap pins first. Frustrated with them, I bought these and wow! These just glide into the fabric with not resistance. I thought I was saving money with that first purchase of cheap pins. Turns out I was wasting it. You get what you pay for. I love these pins.

  • There are no better pins in the market
Size: 100
There are no better pins in the market, especially if you are planning on sewing with delicate fabrics. I use them with silks, cottons, and even heavy ducks, and very few have bent (ok, ok, I bent them running them over with my presser foot, but I'll never admit to it!) Theses are made in Japan, and their best feature is that the pin head is glass, so you can iron over it, unlike my old pins that would melt into the fabric if the iron came within half an inch of their head. They virtually leave no mark on silks and delicate fabrics. One box has been plenty for me for the time being, and I've also given these as gifts to fellow sewists who have loved them just as much. It may sound nerdy to praise pins, but if you're serious about your sewing, the right pins can make a difference! ... show more

  • The Clover brand says it all
Size: 100
I've been very happy with all the Clover products I've used, and these are no exception. The pins are smooth and sharp and easy to use with fabric projects I'm working on. I also like the ball heads, which are easier for me to grasp, as I have tremors that can get difficult to control and make grasping tiny things tricky. ... show more

Excellent pins. High quality - doesn't bend easily (even when caught under the needle while sewing!) and super smooth. Goes through the fabric on the first try. No pins with broken heads (like Dritz!)

  • Great pins, box needs larger tab to make opening easier
Size: 100
Like the tad extra length versus my old headless silk pins. They are VERY sharp! so biggest problem I may have is not pricking my fingers, lol. Sturdy, and did not bend even when used on denim - needed a pin and this one was a stray - but wouldn't recommend using them on such a dense, or thick fabric. Box is difficult to open. Overall very happy with purchase, Seller, and price paid. ... show more

  • Inaccurate size
Size: 100
I like Japanese pins but I got pins inaccurate size. When I picked the pins, the small ones are hard to pick. They are not cheap. I requested to replace but I got same kinds. I gave up because I really need to use some pins. Clover used to make good pins. I don’t know what’s going on. I can’t believe it’s “made in Japan “. Japanese always made good pins not like this. ... show more
