  • Old school booster pack without safety features can start and power vehicles
Style: JNCAIR
No computerized safety features make this the ultimate booster pack. Started a completely flat battery in a car that sat for more than a year Had a vehicle whose lights were left on all night in -10 degree weather. It was a large engine filled with 20W50 oil. So cold outside the car didn’t want to turn over and definitely wasn’t about to start. This booster pack sat connected to the battery for about 15-20 minutes and it started. Incredible! Connected to the main (trunk) battery under the spare tire in a BMW X5 when the alternator failed. Between the inadequate to start+barely sufficient to keep the car running main 12 volt battery plus this JNC Air clipped to the main battery in parallel, we were able to drive the vehicle for more than an hour with zero further issues until we got the vehicle to the shop, avoiding the need for a tow. It was stressful as we watched the dash voltmeter drop (instrument cluster hidden features that can be unlocked), but we made it. At the time, this particular JNC unit was seven years old, definitely not well maintained (there were a couple of years when we didn’t use it and completely forgot to charge it, while it sat on the floor in a basement) yet it always worked flawlessly and exceeded all expectations. Couple months later a similar scenario with a friend’s V8 Lexus LX. Alternator failed, main battery was completed depleted and couldn’t start the vehicle. Clipped the JNC Air to the main battery under the hood, started the car, left the JNC unit in there and jammed it in place by lowering the hood on the JNC unit; drove to the repair shop (only a few miles away this time) without anything more than the coiled air hose becoming kinked from the weight of the hood. We have helped many neighbors and strangers with this jump starter. This has started numerous vehicles without charging for months. It’s simply that good. This unit has saved us an incredible amount of time, made us countless friends, inflated numerous tires, and tested various electronics (using it as a 12 volt power supply). We felt we were pushing our luck with the JNC, being eight years old and quite abused, so we bought a new one of these and passed this to our tow company friend, who, after another two years, continues to use it on his AAA calls. Bonus: Recharges with a standard extension cord (120 VAC outlet). No need to use external transformers or keep track of special chargers. Other considerations worth mentioning: -This is a professional grade unit - it is large and heavy. Not something most will want to drive around with in their trunks at all times. -The air compressor works wonderfully however the attached/supplied hose and chuck aren’t the best. -The replacement certificate requires one to pay to mail the old unit in plus pay a $150 fee and you get a repaired or refurbished unit back. In other words, the certificate is financially pointless. Better to purchase a new replacement unit with all new parts within. ... show more

  • 2022 Jump N Varty 1700 peak Amp Jump Starter Review
Style: JNCAIR
The Jump N Carry 1700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with air compressor is one of the best on the market. Although smaller, more compact jump starters are available, this jump starter can jump starter holds its charge well. The manual recommends charging after one month of storing in extreme heat and every 3 months of storing in extreme cold weather. I used it twice. Once to start a neighbors Acura sedan and twice to utilize the air compressor. The air compressor filled my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee tire from 26 psi to 37 psi in approximately 3-4 minutes. Please take note that the cord to charge the jumper is NOT INCLUDE. The only cord that is included connects to the cigarette lighter in your vehicle. Plus, to utilize the compressor, you will need an adaptor to connect to the compressor hose. These two items will cost you around $25.00. I recommend this product. ... show more

  • Long life
Style: JNCAIR
I carry this in my vehicle daily and it is used alot. Ive owned it for almost 8 years now. The only problem ive had is the compressor on/off switch broke about the 5th year. Easy fix and it's been going strong since. It is stored in the box of my vehicle with only a partial cover. It gets dusty in the summer and is exposed to harsh winter weather. I purchased a replacement battery for it 2 years ago but have not needed to install it yet. It had great reviews 8 years ago so I decided to spend alittle bit more money for this one. Jump boxes ive owned in the past usually didnt last but a couple years or less. ... show more

  • Update: Broken 12v charger resupplied
Style: JNCAIR
Update: Company advised me they are shipping me a new 12v charger. So that's nice. I tested the air compressor on my car. And it seemed to work great. The built in pressure gauge highlighted how inaccurate the cheap pocket chip gauge I was using is. Won't know about the actually starter until I unfortunately need to use it. I might just help the next person I see in battery distress, to give it a test. _______________________________________________________________________________________ The 12v charger it arrived with came crushed at one end. Could have happened during transport, but it did. Not a key component, and easily replaceable. Still bites though. Not sure how the actual device works yet. We’ll see and I will update my review accordingly. ... show more

  • JNC Air - Simply the best!
Style: JNCAIR
I have had a JNC Air for approximately 15 years. Prior to this, I had cheap other brands which had as part of the unit flashlights, radio, all sorts of things as an inducement to buy it. I did. Everything worked great on those units except they wouldn't jump start my car. After being shown the JNC Air about 15 years ago, I gave it a try, junking all those other useless "jumpstarters with the cool stuff." The JNC jumped and started many many vehicles, not just mine, as I always traveled with it in my car and offered to help others. It inflates and starts! You can't beat that!! It never ever failed me or those I helped. Recently, (as I said, after about 15 years) that unit died on me. I sent it back to JNC (Clore Automotive) and they replaced my unit for me with a brand new one. Their customer service can't be beat!! I also bought a unit for my son. I can't say enough about the company, their product, or their customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy one. You won't regret it. ... show more
