I hate the outside stick ones, looks so cheap. BUT NOT THESE ! I waited till late Spring to put these in (bought in Winter) so the heat of the sun would help with adhesion. Left them in and windows up for a FULL WEEK. It's been 7 months and these are still perfect. This is the first non-weathertech wind deflectors that I have purchased. They go in OK, there is adhesive on the backside of the in-channel flanges which helps hold it in place,, but the drawback is it does not leave much wiggle room to get the perfect fit. When I first installed these the window would hit the edge, then automatically lower The trick is that you need to close the windows tightly once the deflectors are installed and leave the car (truck) out in the sun for up to 72 hours for the plastic to remodel and fit the contour once I did that there has been no further interference. ... show more

Installing the rain guards was easy after placing them before removing the tape protective cover to ensure the fit. I’m very happy with them and did need the windows closed for more than 72 hours before the windows in the rear would close without pushing the guard out. It finally set in place and I’m 100% happy with them. ... show more

Fit is great but one front side was missing all the double stick tape. Had to go buy somw from autozone. Waste of time. Other than that it perfectly fits my F250.

Installed these on a 2016 Ford F150 and followed the directions and video. It says to wait 72 hours for the window seals to form to the deflectors. I waited 5 days. During the installation process i noticed the double sided tape was cheap and had poor adhesion to it. Also there were parts of plastic on the edges that needed to be trimmed off due from when they were made. I knew then and there i bet i was going to have issues 5 days later. Well i installed anyway. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Well all four windows hit the deflectors on the first try after 5 days of waiting. The double sided tape failed as well. The issue with these are molding flawes when made, there too thick to be in track deflectors and the double sided tape is too weak to hold them in place causing windows to not fully close. Get what you pay for. Going with the weather tech which i should of done in the first place. ... show more

I have a 2015 F150, Lariat Ultra. For several years I've wanted to install window rain deflectors but I never wanted to apply the exterior mounts, putting adhesive to my paint. I've done that on other vechicles, and they've broken, removing them took paint off... put after this time, I decided to try the "in the jamb" attached versions. This one looks great. The idea of being "shatterproof" was appealing. However, here's the issue - once installed, especially on the rear doors on my crew cab, the base of the vent STOPS the rear window from going all the way up. I've double/triple checked the installation instructions (not that great) but I'm satisfied there installed according to the instructions and it's just the "fit" of the vent, inside the jamb that is blocking the window. I've only just installed them and it says to leave the windows up for 72 hours - not a problem with the 90+, high humidity weather we're having in North Carolina. So, I'll see in 3 days if it settles into a workable condition - if it does, I'll update this review. If it doesn't, I'll return them and maybe, I'll try the surface mount with a "shatterproof" vent. ... show more
