The media could not be loaded. *** This is not a paid endorsement, although I wish it was because these truck parts are getting expensive *** Just installed these in channel AVS Ventshades on my new 2022 F150 SCREW, no problems with install, no bounce back on first roll up, no need to “pull” the visor out for it to work and the look is nice and clean as I expected. Real test will come in 2 - 3 days after allowing time for adhesion to sit with the windows up. I will provide a final update at that point. As others have said in the comments, proper installation is the key to avoiding bounce back or hitting. You MUST insert the tabs at the front and back of the visors in between the trim and frame for these to work. This sounds difficult and might even look “off/weird” when you dry fit them but the final look is clean and sleek. For the front doors, there is a tab on the front and rear of the visor, the rear goes in between the trim piece and door frame, the front goes in between the trim piece and mirror trim. For the rear doors there is only one tab at the front of the visor that goes between the trim and door frame. Below were the steps I followed, upon final window roll up I didn’t have to crawl my window into place or hold the visor out for the window to close. The front windows even auto closed on their own. 1. Read these instructions and perform a dry fit first to familiarize yourself with placing the tabs between the frame and channel. If you attempt to roll up the window while dry fitting, expect the window to bounce back as you have not adhered the visor to the channel yet. 2. Clean all 4 window channels with the provided alcohol swabs. 3. Front windows a. Start by peeling back 1 – 2 inches of the tape backing on each side. b. Insert the rear tab in between the door frame and trim. (I used a non-marring panel removal tool to open it up a little), working from the back to the front push the visor into the window channel, once you get to the front, insert the tab in-between the mirror cap and trim. c. Before pulling off the tape, give the visor a firm push up, you want to “stage the visor in its final resting place. d. Slowly pull the 3M backing off from one side whole pushing the visor up and forward, again you are assisting the visor into its final resting place. e. Once the backing was removed, I placed my non marring tool into the window channel and gentle ran it along the back of the visor while pushing up to give it a little help. f. Slowly roll up the window. 4. Rear windows a. Start by peeling back 1 – 2 inches of the tape backing on each side, unlike the front visor, there is a 1.5” vertical strip at the rear of the visor, peel that off completely. b. Insert the front tab in between the door frame and trim. (I used a non-marring panel removal tool to open it up a little), working from the front to the back push the visor into the window channel. c. Before pulling off the tape, give the visor a firm push up, you want to “stage the visor in its final resting place. d. Slowly pull the 3M backing off from one side whole pushing the visor up and forward, again you are assisting the visor into its final resting place. e. Once the backing was removed, I placed my non marring tool into the window channel and gentle ran it along the back of the visor while pushing up to give it a little help. f. Just like others have already said, the people complaining about their windows hitting the tab and then automatically going back down DID NOT READ THE DIRECTIONS. After reading all the reviews about the "bad fit" or "bad design" and mentioning the windows won't stay up I was really going to settle for the stick-on type instead of these in-channel type. Fortunately I read more reviews and found the ones saying the complainers installed them wrong and didn't read the directions. Furthermore I read where they were saying to put the tab on the OUTSIDE of the channel and theirs worked flawlessly. I decided to take a chance and ordered the in-channel. They were right! I'm so glad I read those reviews because the stick-on ones are lame and sorry looking. Why would anyone get the stick-on when the in-channel ones are priced similarly? The in-channel ones are super slick and look factory. Installation was 15-20 mins tops. Be sure to use the alcohol pads to clean the part of the window channel where the adhesive side of the vent visor will be sticking to. The channel is wide enough to put the alcohol pad on your finger tip and put your finger totally into the channel and wipe the whole length. Dry fit then pull the tape and install. Once installed immediately push up to seat the visor all the way up and then run your finger up in the window channel again but this time you're pushing on the visor to make sure it sticks. Then put the window up and leave it up for at least 24 hours. Can't get any easier than that. Good luck! ... show more

There must be something wrong with this company and there products. This wasn't even close to fitting correctly. Finally got them on per the directions and left the windows up for 24 hrs . First time I used the windows they broke and snapped off. I bought one of there hood bug deflector also and had the same problem with fitting . This went on a 2023 Ford F150 STX Supercrew Cab. Don't pay attention to the videos they tell you to watch. These vent visors do not go the length of the door. However, they do look really good once they're on. Note: for back doors, the squared off end goes to the front and the arrowed end goes towards the back of the truck. Also, the tab on the front visors go between the plastic from the mirror mount and the rubber seal. Don't try to put behind the rubber. Overall I would buy again. I put these on my 2017 F150. They look and fit great. The only problem was my own doing, I should have used a step ladder to install as I have a 6" lift so I didn't get the fitment 100%. No fault of the product. I recommend you tube install videos to make sense of the instructions there are really good videos if you need them. Make sure the surface is good and clean. Paper towel and alcohol because the provided pad is very small. Simple install. I forgot even though they came well packaged a couple of them were scuffed but I used them anyway. I put these on my 2023 F150 after much thinking. I read too many reviews about the Ford trucks having sensitive window stops to the point that when the inside channel ventvisors are installed that the window will just keep popping down and not stay up. I installed the guards which was straight forward after watching a few how to videos and I then left the windows up for 3 days to really seat the visors. I do have a problem sometimes with the passenger window dropping back down from the top but the other 3 are fine. ... show more
