Really good tasting bars and easy to pack for snack if you are out and about. The 20g of protein is a fantastic addition to assist in workout recovery, but the added sugars are a bit high (17g). I put up with the added sugar because of the taste and comparable price point.

I guess it's a good tide-you-over bar, but it's not quite a meal replacement. It's substantial, but I don't feel full by any means after eating one. I would call it a substantial snack. Also, 290 calories is a lot if you're trying to lose weight like I am. There are better, healthier food choices that fill you up more than this for a lot fewer calories. The taste is good, but it is a protein bar after all, so expect some of that protein bar aftertaste. I just had one tonight because I had calories leftover for the day. On sale, they're definitely worth it. They are probably a better choice than a big candy bar, but man...290 calories. ... show more

Includes electrolytes, high protein, sugar ( not too much ), and fat. satiates your body while sedentary or in motion { the hallmark of a good food bar } .     • Too many calories
These are delicious. In fact, they're too delicious for what I'm looking for, namely, a protein-heavy snack that won't fill me up on calories. These, unfortunately, have quite a few calories in them: 14.5 calories per gram of protein is pretty high (some competitors get around 12 calories per gram; that's a big difference!). I'd be much happier with a version that was slightly less delicious -- I'm not looking for a candy bar, after all -- with fewer calories. To point, there's 17g added sugar. Reduce that down to 10g added sugar and we have a 250 calorie bar instead of a 290 calorie bar that's probably still quite good. As is, they're too calorie-dense at the moment for me to buy regularly. Just makes it too hard to stay on point with my goals. ... show more
