  • Late
Come 2 weeks late and they were supposed to put it together and place it in the spot and they didn’t and the box was pretty badly damaged. It’s kinda comfy real firm.

  • Good Value
I’m not going to lie. I have this a shot based on a recommendation from a friend, who said it was just right for an average height person. My only real issue was with UPS refusing to deliver it, due to the size of the box, they had trouble ever getting it to fit in their deliver trucks. After a speaking to two different Supervisors, and Amazon, it was finally delivered three days late. Not penalizing the MFG here, as it’s really an Amazon Logistics issue. (YMMV). For the price, I was expecting something of a lesser quality. I purchased it at $81, a bit lower than the $100 or so it’s normally selling for. Putting it together was the easiest part. The chair back simply slides into two rails, clicks, and is secured. It’s approx 94 lbs, and is fairly comfortable. My wife and I are 5’8” & 5’9” and our feet hang off the edge when reclined, but isn’t an issue. If you’re expecting your heels to be on the padding when reclined, this likely won’t do that unless you’re approx. 5’5”. It’s suprisingly comfortable, and seems well built. No issues with springs, tears, or space to sit. The only issue was the flap that hangs off the back, being a bit scuffed from the packaging. It’s barely noticeable from a distance, and I used a black perm marker to cover them up (can’t see them now). If this goes back on sale (sold out as of this review), we’ll likely buy another one. ... show more

  • Good recliner at a good price.
First off this recliner is not covered in leather so if that's something that's important to you look elsewhere. I didnt care to much that it was not leather I just wanted something that would be easy to keep clean. When it arrived it came in 2 pieces, the base and the backrest. Assembly was very easy, it took longer to unpack. Unfortunately I got one that had ripped fabric on the footrest but Amazon was very good at replacing it. The recliner mechanism is very good but I will admit that closing it back up can be a bit tedious. It seems to have a sweet spot for locking it in place. That being said I am able to close it without having it propped against a wall. Which is how I have it setup so I can recline it completely without hitting the wall. Comfort wise it's the best seat in the house and my kids are constantly taking it away from me. Size wise it's not small but it's not super bulky so it doesn't take up much space, and it is a manageable weight so it's very easy toove around. I would definetly buy another one. ... show more

  • Very nice for the price.
Easily worth $88. I am 6 ft and hang off the foot end about 8 inches, which is ok as I have to modify the footrest. For the head I will need a pillow. As someone pointed out, you need to give a hard push to the foot rest to close it. The only minor flaw I have found is that the back valance or curtain (covering the seatback mechanism) has a Velcro strip but the matching strip is underneath the edge of the chair and it just won't reach. A strip of Velcro will fix it. All in all a nice chair for the price, it looks nice, the leather-like covering is thick, and the stuffing is made of continuous pieces and not the cut up foam (scrap-like) found in most cheaper chairs. It is not too soft nor too hard. To me it is very comfortable. The reason for the 4 stars is the mis-placed Velcro and the the too stiff spring in the footrest. ... show more

  • not bad for the price
im 5 6 150 lbs and seems to fit just fine but if i was a big guy this wouldn't work head rest is a lil on the short side and arm rest are a lil low but its still does the job and is comfortable

  • Pretty decent chairs
I bought two of these chairs for my living room. The chairs are decently comfortable and offer good support. I can sit in them for a while and remain reasonably comfortable. After sitting in them for some time though my back and my butt begin to hurt. That could just be me though and I'm sure that probably happens with most chairs. The material the chairs are made out of is easily scratched and scuffed in my experience. However, the material is easy to clean. Overall for the pretty low price they are nice and exceed my expectations. ... show more

  • Amazing Value for Money!
I was looking for a cheap recliner for my basic home theater setup. This was $84 when I first saw on Amazon, have seen other reviews stating they got it for ~$80. I wasn't sure so I did not purchase it in the first attempt and the prices kept increasing before it went out of stock. Fortunately, I put an order for 2 when it was around $94. I did pay a bit more than few other purchasers here, but I do not regret it. This chair is amazing value for money. I am 5'11" and 150lbs and I can sit through a movie comfortably on this chair. Glad that I did not have to spend high amount of money for a recliner ... show more

  • it IS comfortable and the price was good
The footrest is not always cooperative, and it's a labor to get the footrest to close completely. However, it IS comfortable and the price was good. I don't expect it to last for years to come, but for light use, it's just fine. Added note: I was right about the time it would last. In about 6 months the arm part of the frame was broken. ... show more
