Putter is exactly as described, with a very good head cover and a great, sticky, oversize grip. I bought this one, as well as the Cleveland Soft 11, so I could compare the two. By the way, both are much heavier than i expected, but I think that will actually help my green game. I'll leave the plastic on the heads and try to get the feel of both (on carpet) before deciding which one to keep. I'm leaning toward the Soft 11, because that mallet head is actually more compact than the the Soft 8 blade. But, seriously Amazon . . . what were your people thinking when they dropped both putters loose into a huge, oversize box, with no padding or protective wrapping - just a single thin sheet of packing paper thrown in? I mean, the box was big enough to hold a "Sunday" golf bag, for God's sake. And these two relatively expensive putters are just rattling around in there, banging off each other during shipment. Thankfully, it doesn't appear that any damage was done to either club. But this is a perfect example of inept, low cost, Amazon warehouse labor, folks who apparently aren't paid to think. The as-received packaging is shown in the photos attached. Amazon's careless handling of these two $135 putters really p*sses me off! ... show more
