I live in a home built in 1928. All of the original outlets are the polarized two prong type. I want to put Christmas lights outdoors. The only outdoor outlet I have in the front is an add-on that I screwed into the light fixture over the front porch. Christmas tree lights nowadays are very low power
, so it's not unsafe to put them in such an outlet, but I don't want the Christmas tree lights hanging down in the middle of the front stoop in front of the door. I need an extension cord that's sturdy, suitable for outdoors, and two prong. This is good for that. Actually I accidentally got 2 of this sort. There was a shorter one from another vendor that was better for the front outside -- so I ended up using this one inside, where I could have used a skinny, indoor extension cord, but this one just feels safer so I used it instead -- and I needed a longer one inside than I needed outside.

I use in the barn for an in tank water heater. My old extension kept tripping the ground fault plug. So I purchased this product and I haven't had a problem since. I don't have to turn the light on to see if its working because the end of this product lights when getting electric.

I bought this for use on a sweeper it does not have a ground wire therefore it does not twist it is a very soft and flexible wire after a couple weeks I am very happy for what i am using it for . I can't attest to durability or any other features but it appears to be pretty decent material . I will b
uy another when this one fails , The sweeper is used 2 hours a day so Im sure I will need to replace it at some point .

I got this and a 25 footer they make to connect my Christmas lights. With everything being LED, this cord was not going to have any trouble. I would not buy an outdoor cord without molded ends.

This outdoors extension cord is being used to plug in my heated waterhose for my RV. I love that it has a light in the plug that shows that power is hot to the cord because a GFI circuit flipped off one day and I knew as soon as I saw it that something was wrong because the light wasn't on.
