I bought this previously for the occasional pimple but then started using Squalene oil as a face moisturizer in October of last year and didn't see another pimple. However, I left for a long road trip at the start of the year and had run out of the moisturizer so I switched to Cera-Ve. Worst choice ever! I think it's because it has sunscreen in it. Within a couple weeks of switching, I ended up with 5-6 pimples on my face at once--I think the most I've ever had. RED AND PEELING Luckily I brought this spot treatment with me. Using it one or two days in a row worked on some, but there was a persistent one above my left eye that I applied it a few times a day for a day or two. I think I wasn't putting enough product on in a single application, you have to coat the area. Because I wasn't using enough each time, I had to prolong my use of this and it did cause my skin to turn red, but the pimple went away. Two days later, with no moisturizer (and I tend to have dryer skin), the skin painlessly peeled/flaked off that small spot and there was no sign of acne there anymore. A similar thing happened under my right eye where I had a persistent pimple. I applied the product a bit more heavily there and it disappeared within a day or two. There was a bit of redness left behind, and I have some what sensitive skin, but the skin just flaked off that little spot too and there is no evidence I had a pimple at all! I still have a few on my chin because I stopped using the product only because the redness it was causing scared me. However, now that I've seen that the peeling is temporary and painless, I will use this again today to get rid of those last few pimples. Great news because I have plans this weekend! MY ADVICE Because this product works, I ordered the three-part Advantage system with cleaner, treatment, and moisturizer and it should be in today. Overall, very happy with it, but if you have a stubborn pimple, I would make sure you're fully coating it when you apply this and if you have very sensitive skin, maybe don't apply it two or three times in a row like I did. With that said, my skin did clear within 48 hours and my pimples otherwise may have lingered for a week or more, so what more could you want? By the way, I didn't notice a fragrance... ... show more

I have the definition of combination skin. In my t-zone, it's all oil, all the time. When you get to the areas surrounding my cheeks and chin, it's a desert. And, I have problem skin. Lovely to be me, right? So I've been using this product forever, it's great in a pinch when you need to shrink a pimple for the following day, and cover it up with make-up, but it's not really a treatment per se. Recently, I've discovered the best way to actually use this product rather than the one stop solution I've been using it as for the past several years. Basically, I use my TreeActiv Anti Acne & Rosacea Treatment Sulfur Mask Plus Rhassoul, Bentonite Clay Mask with Witch Hazel & Aloe Vera - Refreshing Lemon Scent (1 Jar) (4 Oz) three times a week, which helps prevent future pimples, deep cleans my pores, and also evens out my complexion. Directly after using the mask, I use the C & C spot treatment, which works on the existing pimples, zapping them dead in their tracks. Now, here comes the important part, I use TreeActiv+ Tea Tree Oil Acne Solution for Advanced Acne Treatment - All Natural Acne Spot Treatment - Blemishes Gone or Your Money Back! (60ml) as a disinfectant for my skin. Why do I need a disinfectant you ask? Because salicylic acid works as an acid does, sort of burning a hole through your zit, making it smaller, but also making it extremely susceptible to more bacteria which creates, as you guessed it, more pimples. After using this regimen for a couple of weeks I am completely satisfied with my skin, and will continue to use all of these products in this way.     • It Works Great, Fast and it's Inexpensive!

This product truly amazes me! After getting horrible acne that refused to go away a few months ago, I became a little desperate. I started doing everything from washing my face often to using acne soaps and creams from my local beauty store to some home remedies I had heard about etc, but nothing worked. I was even thinking about ordering one of those fancy-ad products (you know the one I'm talking about) until I read somewhere that it is not the best product for African American Skin. A friend of mine then told me the wonders that Clean & Clear did for her acne and post acne marks (dark spot remover) and so, I decided to try this one after doing some research. Even after what my friend had told me and reading all of the great reviews about this product, I was still a bit skeptical because... Well, how many of us trust products that claim to work this fast??? But, I decided that I had nothing to lose and ordered it on Amazon.com. After placing my order, I read some more reviews and then became a little impatient waiting for it to arrive in the mail (told you I was desperate). So, I went to Walmart and bought the same one for about the same price and I tried it the same day. I first applied it on the problem areas on my face at about 9AM that day, washed it off after 30 minutes and reapplied it. I did this three times that day, left the last batch on my face and went to sleep (I work overnight). I kid you not, when I woke up around 8PM that night, I had already started seeing results. My acne started dissolving that same day. It has now been 6 days since I've been using this product and my acne is almost completely gone. I'm still on the tube I bought from Walmart and I will save the one I got from Amazon for later use if I ever need it. I am now going to purchase the dark spot remover and I'm hoping for the same results. I definitely recommend this product! JC ... show more
