It looks nice. But when you sit on the side of the bed the whole side bows down several inches. It’s scary. It squeaks and shakes and I worry about my dog under the bed. Looking for a new frame. We might just go old school steel frame and be done with it.

My son has a birthday around the corner and I wanted a big change for his room. This bed frame is perfect. He feels like a man now :) easy to set up. About a half hour with two kids climbing all over every thing and hissing the screws in the leg holes. But all in all went together perfectly

    • Easy to put together, beautifully low key
UPDATED 11/25 After 20 days of sleeping on this frame there is one major drawback. The center support bar is very noticeable. When sleeping in the middle of the bed - you certainly know that you are in the center. I have to sleep on either side of the bed to not know it is there. So easy to assemble! From doorstep to ready to use- 35 minutes- just by myself! It seems sturdy and so far does not make noise- even when the dog switches spots through out the night. I love that it is low key and high end looking at a fantastic price. I bought this to replace a higher end adjustable base and queen memory foam. It was a daily task to keep the mattress in one place on the base- so far this one has stayed put. ... show more

    • I want to kick the designer of this bed in their shins.
The bed was cheap and easy to assemble… I should have known it was too good to be true. Less than a year later and the mattress was falling through one side of the frame. One year and a month later, one side of the frame has snapped in half. It is so badly broken repair is not possible. My partner and I have had worse back pain in this last year (even with regular access to chiropractic and massage therapy) than we have in our whole lives. I feel like this bed has created irreparable harm to my family. This is not a purchase for people who respect themselves. This is a bed for your in law suite if you NEVER want a return visit. ... show more

    • Whose definition of upholstered?
So, it is over all not a terrible "looking" bedframe. The color is a gray so dark it is almost black, so not quite as pictured. The main thing that disappointed me, though, it that it says upholstered and looks padded. It is absolutely not. It is a relatively thin fabric draped over a frame. So, along the sides of the bed, if you touch it, there is NOTHING inside or behind the fabric. It's hollow. Just an empty fabric box, so super fragile. I appreciate that the frame was metal and not some engineered fake wood, so it's seems strong, but you can get any old bedframe in metal. ... show more
