  • 5 stars for the product, 10 stars for me for buying it!
Size: 6' x 6' Color: Gray
I bought this for my raised deck (8x10), on 2nd floor of my house. I had been looking at getting a retractable awning with attached bug netting, but that ended up getting very pricey (between $4k and $6k), and then finding that awning dealers were no longer selling the bug netting (probably getting damaged when the awning auto-retracts in higher wind. This $200 tent has become one of the best purchases in many years for me. This 6x6 tent fits perfectly on my 8x10 deck. The 6x6 is really the dimension of the top framework. The expanded sides (that bow out from the tension rods) actually measures close to 8x7. I first opened it up in my living room to get acquainted with the deployment. Then I closed it up and took it out to my deck. It was nearly as easy to set up in those cramped quarters (due to the side of the house and the railings) as it was in my living room. I really enjoy sitting outside listening to sprinkles land around and above me - but I don't like getting wet from them. As long as the wind isn't blowing with the sprinkles, this tent keeps me dry. Even a slight breeze is okay as the water has to work a little hard to get through the screen. I love being able to eat outside when the weather permits. I have an umbrella for really hot/sunny days, but it doesn't cover as much of the deck as I sometimes wish it would. And I really don't like when the bugs start swarming while I'm eating. I had purchased a hanging mosquito net to hang from the umbrella, but that was pretty inconvenient and only good for solo dining. With this tent, I can easily get my food out on the table with only unzipping and rezipping with each trip. And when I'm eating, it's so peaceful not having to constantly swat bugs away. Oh, and this time of year there is a lot of cottonwood (summer snow) blowing around. This blocks 99% of it (although some does follow me in as I go in and out). This is a real game changer for my outside dining. My very first meal in it (a beautiful steak dinner) would have been interrupted by a sudden sprinkle had it not been for being in the tent. What a great way to christen it! It's plenty big inside for 2 people to comfortably lounge on patio furniture or eat at a small table. I've only been using it (nearly daily) for a month or so, so I can't speak to its durability just yet. The zipper is very heavy duty looking, and I haven't seen any indication yet that it might be a problem. I do wish for one change (which I can make myself, but would be nice if built this way), that the lower zipper had a different color of grip string. It is too easy to grab the top zipper when you want the bottom one. I'll probably add a colored ribbon to the bottom one. It doesn't get too dark inside like I was afraid it might. I still have to wear my sunglasses sometimes when I'm reading in the tent. And I can still catch the sun's rays when it isn't straight up. I was also worried that the netting would make it too stuffy inside, like the mosquito netting I had did, but it is quite comfortable since it lets a bit more breeze through. Portability - if I was going to do anything out at a park with any regularity, or go camping, I would get a 2nd one of these for that. When closed and in its (very rugged) carrying case, it is quite light and easy to take with you. My kitties just love this (as pictured)! ... show more

  • Quick and Easy
Size: Built In Wind Panels - 12.5' x 12.5' Color: Green
We bought the 12.5x12.5 pavilion and couldn't be happier about it. The fit, finish, and overall quality are fantastic. We read several reviews about people receiving their tent inside out. It is easy to think this if you attempt to set it up wrong. Read the instructions. The tent will appear inside out if you try to set the tent up with the top hub in the air. Again, read the instructions. Proper setup requires that that top hub actually be on the ground, and then set up from there. We ordered the green one because it was on sale and we saved $75, but we really wanted the gray one. After setting up and using the green version, we really like the color a lot and in the end we're quite happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Awesome product
Size: 11.5' x 11.5' Color: Gray
Spending the winter in Florida, I got this to protect us from the no-serum bugs in the area, the screens are perfect for this. It sets up easily with one person, very light and easy to move into final position before anchoring. We ordered window covers to close in when necessary a very nice addition. We went with the 11 1/2 versus the 12 foot model due to space. The larger one has attached panes over the windows and I think would be a better option where available space is not an issue. I am very pleased with the clam and would recommend to anyone looking for an outdoor shelter ... show more

  • SIMPLY THE BEST! BUY IT!
Size: Built In Wind Panels - 12.5' x 12.5' Color: Gray
EXCELLENT dome screen tent. BEST in class and has all the features. EXCEEDS expectations. The first one we had was a different name brand and lasted a couple years, it was a good name brand but was over $300. THIS replacement is much better in every way. *The fabric, grommets, zippers, velcro, and even the stakes are high quality. The six strings come with smaller stakes for extra wind protection *The ATTACHED wind and rain flaps are a huge upgrade and bonus! Others have invidual panels that need to be put up by attaching to the tent with velcro. SOME, USUALLY only 2 have windows (so there can be ventalation when the protection, comfort panels are up). These panels have a window in EVERY panel and thus no matter which way the wind or rain is coming from you'll be able to open windows. The quality is notable with small seams fitting over the edge of the panels. There are panels for the doors too. All panels just need to be rolled up and tied when not needing them. Then to use just unroll and velcro down the ones you choose. *The door has two quality zippers, one for the screen layer and one for the wind and rain panel. The zipper can be unzipped from the top or bottom. *The size is larger than most, usually the 12' ones are 11'.5" or at most 12' while this one is an extra 6 inches all the way around (which is really an extra foot inside if adding the 6in from one side to the 6in straight across. This could be used as a sleeping tent for extra guests. The listing pics don't do justice for this screen tent, it's much better. It costs a tad more but overall it's a much better deal. This is a case of you get what you pay for. Review pics were taken with some side panels down and some up to show what each look like. It was very windy when pics were taken. The front anchor strings are not up. The easiest way to set up is go inside and push out the lower wall pieces going around a circle. That takes about a minute. Then stake down, hold stakes at an angle. The grommets are under the rain flaps at the intersections/corners. ... show more

  • It arrived with one side twisted!
Size: Built In Wind Panels - 12.5' x 12.5' Color: Brown
We like this now that we fixed it! It arrived packaged with one of the sides/panels twisted and it took us way too long to put up the first time. One side was twisted at the center connected point so it had to be totally undone (poles removed) and untwisted. Be very careful as you take it out of the package (we were very cautious but still had an issue). ... show more
