  • The best portable shelter known to man!
Color: Brown Size: Built In Wind Panels - 12.5' x 12.5'
We needed a shelter because we were going camping for Thanksgiving and needed a place to serve the food since we were feeding about 14 (yes, we're crazy people. Lol) and the RV is too cramped to line that many up in there. We almost bought a different one, but I found this after my husband had gone to bed, so I made the decision without him. All I told him was, "I know it cost more, but you will thank me when you put it up the first time." So the day finally came and he went out to put it up. Just a couple minutes later he came back in and exclaimed, "Omg, that thing is awesome!!!" And over the next few days I listened to him tell everyone how easy it was to put it up. Even the other campers who came by to ask us about it. And yes, I took ALL the credit. Lol What we liked: The first time he put it up it took about 60 seconds. It is SO easy I don't think he looked at the instructions once. And taking it down is even easier, if that's possible. It's VERY tall. My son in law is about 6'4 and even he had plenty of clearance above his head. It's very sturdy. We were right on a lake where it gets very windy (that was the main reason we needed it) and we left it up for about 4 nights without any concern about it getting damaged or it getting blown around at all. Even on the warmer days when we had the windows and door open. It might be different if we were just using the screens, but it ties down really well and I think it would take a lot for that to happen. The wind walls are attached, so you always have them with you. Just unroll them from the top and zip them into place. Plus there are windows on them that you can open if you're still in need of some fresh air. There is a ton of space inside. We put up 2 tables about 6' long on either side to put the food on. If it had been colder or too windy we could have easily fit chairs on either side of both tables to eat at and I don't think it would've felt crowded. Even though it's a dark brown color, the light colored roof allowed plenty of light in so we didn't need a light source until after the sun went down. A day prior when temps were in the high 40s, we tried using one of those small radiator type heaters (the cheap $50 ones from Walmart) to warm it up just in case it got cold enough that we'd have to eat inside. Didn't end up needing to, but with that tiny heater it got warm enough to be comfortable. We liked the apron along the bottom that should keep most bugs out. Some reviews complained about getting it back in the storage bag after use. This wasn't a problem for us. It went right back in without any hassle at all. Maybe the bag is bigger now? It didn't really rain that week so we can't speak to how dry it stays or if it gets too hot in warmer weather. Then again, we live in the south. No matter where you are, in the shade or not, it is ALWAYS too hot outside. I don't see it being any worse in any screen room you could buy. Lol ... show more

  • Great for Sports Events
Color: Brown Size: 9' x 9'
I was originally looking for a rectangular canopy with wind shields for our soccer tournament at the end of February and ran across this Quick Set. I watched all the YouTube videos and thought it would be idea. because they made it look extremely easy to put up and take down. I'm glad I did because it worked awesome ! It was easy to put up and take down, all the kids loved it and everyone that walked by it asked about it. They were amazed how easy it was to put up and take down as well. It worked great in the rain but would advise the following: 1. Treat it with scotch guard first 2. Buy a large plastic tarp for the bottom because everyone ended up putting their gear in their which kept the floor dry when it started to rain.. 3. Get the wind shields, it did great not only for the rain but for the cold winds. Pros: 1. Easy to setup, easy to do it by yourself 2. East to take down, easy to do it by yourself. 3. Plenty of space for a family of 4 including a small table 4. Worked great during the cold days (although, haven't tested it during the summer) 5. Worked great during the rain with the angled top; the water won't collect like the rectangular canopies do and just sheet flows off. 6. The quality seems top notch including the carrying bag and zippers but time will only tell. Only a couple of downsides: 1. I bought this for just my family but it ended up being the team's tent and was too small for all of them to fit including our table with the food on it but that's actually a compliment. 2. Because how easy it is to setup/take down, the Quick Set tent is already assembled and ready to be setup and/or collapsed. This makes it pretty long when closed but it's probably similar to the 10x10 or 12x12 canopies when they are collapsed. I had to use the rectangular opening in my middle seat to get it to fit in my car (bmw 535) or prop it up on the rear seat of my LR4. So make sure you pay attention to the dimensions when it's collapsed but it's still worth it and if you have a truck, no problem at all. 3. Because how tall it is when closed, not the easiest place to store in the garage but neither is a 10x10 or larger canopy. Just a heads up if you have a small garage like me which barely fits 2 cars in it. On that note, I would definitely buy again and recommend it to anyone that asks...although, I would probably buy the next size up for a team tent. UPDATE 10/20/2021: Still enjoying the Clam and it's still holding up but need to warn you. I won't use this during summer, due to the mesh sidewalls, wind flow is basically non-existent. You either need to get yourself a battery powered fan (or maybe 5 of them) like the one Milwaukee sells or don't use. I ended up using a simple umbrella which is smaller and easier to pack. Since my daughters play soccer year around, I still use it during the colder parts of the year and think it's still a great value. Glenn ... show more

  • Quick and easy set up!
Color: Tan Size: 6' x 6'
Excellent product that is quick and easy to setup! First time use on a 10 day camping trip this canopy kept the bugs out, shaded us from the sun and minimizes the wind but still felt a cool breeze through. It is not water proof but I would recommend a rain guard and sides if you need it! Perfect size for us. Easily fit 4 people comfortably. ... show more
