This makes perfect winter storage on my covered patio. I got it primarily to keep my birdseed from getting damp, and to prevent my mini-dachshund from opening the bag, eating the birdseed and being sick all over the carpet (dachshunds will eat anything). It’s more spacious than expected, and the top tray is divided into sections, so I can store other small things in it for the winter, including a coiled short hose. This was an unexpected dividend and very useful. I wouldn’t recommend it for outdoor storage, but it’s fine on the covered patio, especially since it’s against the rear wall, the warmest and dryest area of the patio. The media could not be loaded. The clear box makes it easier see through so we know what's on the bottom the shelf on the top with all the little cubbies is great for being able to break things up and keep different jewels and tools separated. The cubbies on top are deep enough to even hold small containers. It stacks easily on top of all my other clear boxes. The flip handle locks on the top are easy to use. The only real problem is that it was slightly more expensive than expected, as great as it is it's just not worth it to purchase many more of them...to me that is. ... show more
