I took it out for its first longer ride yesterday 15 miles, and found it very comfortable and fun to ride. I upgraded the seat to a more padded one and found having a mirror a real plus as I ride. The last few miles I used the total electric and used only one bar of battery power. I was tired of the tall bikes that you have to lean forward on and wanted one that I could sit up and be comfortable. The thicker tires are nice makes the bike feel more stable. It was a great price, and it took me about 30 minutes to put the bike together. The written directions are not very clear. After I put my bike together, it took me about 15 minutes to put my wife together. I ended up starting from the back of the bike and working my way forward instead of putting the front end first. We purchased two of these bikes and have been very happy with them. The price was great and the assembly took about an hour or so. I think the instructions could be improved, but once you put together most of the parts you'll see how the rest fit together. I had to loosen the brake pad to get the wheel in place but that was no big deal. I used my own tools because they seem to work better than the ones provided. Battery charge seems to hold as expected. We've ridden these about 60 miles so far over the course of a few months and not had any issues. You are supposed to recharge them when you're done riding for the day. Charge seems to last about 20-30 miles or so but it really just depends on how fast you're going and how much pedaling the bike is doing for you. You can, of course, manually pedal the bikes if needed. I like that you can select how much pedal assist you want. I also like "walk mode" which you can use by holding down the minus sign. This mode will walk the bike for you if you're on foot, you just guide it. We used these in Florida and even with the hot weather the bike held up just fine. I like that there's a metal opening near the seat where I can put a bike lock through. We also purchased some side mirrors and a bike bag for the back of the bike which work just fine. The seat I wish was more comfortable but we purchased another seat and it worked out just fine. The seat that came with was fine, but the more we rode them we decided it would be more comfortable to get a better seat. Easy fit and installation. I'm actually surprised at how good of quality this bike is when you consider its price. I purchased this bike wondering if it would actually be cheap, but I was pleasantly surprised and both bikes we purchased have been excellent. The bike has very decent acceleration and is easy to pedal. Those who think it is too heavy should read the description better - it is heavy and it is unlikely I'll be folding it up anytime soon. The directions are not great though. They need much better illustrations. The metal used for the nut on the seat pole clamp is cheap and strips very easily, so use care when tightening it down. And the key goes in such an awkward location it makes me wish there was something up near the handlebars. ... show more

So far we’ve been very happy with this purchase for our teenager son. It was a little larger than we thought, but while riding, it doesn’t feel large and handles well. Battery life is great and it has shocks and larger tires to make for a smooth ride! Highly recommended for the price range.

The media could not be loaded. I tried for 12 days to resolve this but the seller assumes I'm the problem, not the poor instructions or missing parts. The bike is looses and dangerous at the handlebar. The bike does not fold in half. Seller has no solutions and refuses to return/pick up the bike. They act all friendly until their solutions don't work. They accused me of incompetence and not liking the color. I love the color and they just made that up without any reference. They claim to be in Texas but speak and write worse English than even the most uneducated Texan! I was polite for weeks but their rude email today made me decide to stop being Mr Nice Guy. Please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. And, my issues were noted by several other reviewers so believe them and me! ... show more
