So I bought this since we mainly use rokus in my household, which my daughter sees the remotes and tries to eat them. So I bought this to help her teething, as well as to maybe stop her from teething on the actual remotes. But it definitely helped with teething, and you have the option to put ice on the back part, although I have yet to try it. The thickness of the teether is on the thinner side but it's bigger than the actual remote so I'd say it's pretty safe for those scared of a piece coming off. The texture is a bit bumpy on one side but I think the grooves of the supposed 'buttons' help satisfy her teething, and it did come with the clip so you can clip it onto their clothing or car seat, so no more losing teethers. ... show more

Bought this because it closely resembles my remote. There are no bells/whistles but the baby loves it! Perhaps it's because it is on the smaller size and easy for tiny hands to grasp and bring to mouth to rub on gums.

My 7 month old is always grabbing the remote if he’s in my lap so I thought I’d buy him his own, this is perfect for him! It’s got all the little bumps and ridges for teething and I don’t have to worry about him whacking himself in the head and hurting himself. It’s easy for him to hold, quality is same as compared to other teethers we have and it comes with a strap which he also loves chewing 🤷🏻♀️ Only complaint is that it has a weird smell but after washing it really well it’s no longer there. ... show more

I didn’t expect a floppy remote. The back of this is lacking as it does not resemble a remote at all. The buttons do not press. It’s bigger than the real remote. There is something attractive about a real remote for babies and I think some of it is the texture and weight of the remote. I think they could achieve this without making it too hard for the baby.
