My son purchased an oversized leather chair for me for mother's day and I was thrilled at his gift but quickly realized that my cats were going to destroy it if I didn't find a fitted cover for it! I measured the chair and searched online to find a cover that would protect my gift and I noticed that there wasn't very many options for oversized chairs. Then I came across this chair cover, it was affordable priced, gave an option of colors, but most importantly, according to the measurements given, would fit over my chair! It was delivered quickly, the color and material of the cover was great, the main cover for the chair was easy to put on the chair as there are sewn in labels that tell you which side is for the front, back and arms of the chair! Easy peasy, took me just a couple of minutes to get the cover on and it looks really nice! The problem came when I went to put on the separate cover for the chair cushion! You would think that it would cover the cushion like a pillow case, with either a zipper or elastic to close it in, in the back of the cushion, but it doesn't, it goes on like a fitted sheet, is supposed to go over the top of the chair cushion with the elastic facing the bottom of the cushion, just like you would put a fitted sheet on your mattress, only the cushion cover is way to small for the chair cushion! It was like a game of futility trying to put the cover over the cushion as I'd get one side of it covered and it would pop off the other side! I tried to squeeze the whole cushion flatter to get the cover on it, finally get it covered, place the cushion back on the chair and immediately have the whole cover pop off the cushion! It just does not fit! The manufacturer needs to realize that an oversized chair is going to have an oversized cushion as well and make a cushion cover accordingly! Sad, because as I stated, the fabric, color and size of the actual chair cover, are perfect! It's the cushion cover that is way too small for the chair! Back to the drawing board!! ... show more

I bought this to protect my sofa from my new puppy, not to cover up anything. It didn’t take but a day for her to “scratch” some snags turned holes as the fabric is very thin. But it’s a nice looking slip cover if you’re using it to cover up a sofa. It’s inexpensive too so I ended up buying another and put it on top of the other to double up the fabric. I'd been looking for both loveseat and couch slipcovers to replace existing (heavier) one-piece covers that have been used for many years, but are now looking pretty ratty. I've never used two-piece covers, but was intrigued and hopeful that they would fit better on my couch and loveseat than the old one which always needed re-tucking or adjusting after sitting on the furniture. After a day of use, this is what I like about this product. + I purchased both a loveseat and couch cover for about sixty dollars; the same price I would have paid for one with another brand. (Gray wasn't my first choice in color, however it was on sale and looks good now that it's on the furniture.) + The fabric is soft to the touch and doesn't move around on fabric furniture. No re-tucking or adjustments are needed! + The two-piece design worked well. Loose back pillows on the loveseat and sofa stay in place much better than they did with the previous one-piece slipcover. + The color 'gray' means there is no show-through of the green couch underneath. It's fairly true to the color on Amazon. + The two-piece cover is easy to put on, and not too bulky to store if not in use. + Works well on both my loveseat and couch; good stretch to all the edges without riding up when people sit on the furniture. No wrinkles either! + It is easy to remove and washes well. ---------------------------------- In putting this two-piece cover set on my furniture I was a little concerned that I might stretch it too much and either tear it or break the elastic, but it went on well and definitely seems secure on the furniture. I do have pets so time will tell if it's durable enough to withstand their jumping on and off the couch. I also have a husband who likes to sit in one place on the loveseat, and the pattern of the fabric (little 'nubs' of softness...) may wear off in time considering. While I think these are good quality covers that definitely fit my furniture well and updated the look of old furniture, I do think they will need replacing more often than previous (more expensive) covers. If you can get them at the right price though, you will be in for a treat as they really fit well and make a positive difference for those on a budget. At present, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend them to others. ---------------------------------------------- UPDATE: 12/10/16 - I've had these covers on my couch and loveseat for over a week now and despite dogs jumping up on the furniture, and a husband who is not concerned whether a cover is 'tidy' or not, these covers have done incredibly well! I don't note any shifting of the covers, no tears or snags, and they aren't attracting dog hair or fuzzy bits! The loose pillow-backed furniture looks like new (sent a photo to my daughter at college and she asked "Did we get a new couch?") and the pillow backs stay put, which was never the case with the other covers. The softness of the fabric makes me want to sit on the furniture! Overall, I'm really happy. Much happier than I'd ever been with the SureFit covers that had been on them for years. **UPDATED stars/review** Company responded quickly and made it right!! Thank you! So rare for that to happen! I love this cover even more now. This fabric is NOT a dog hair magnet, thankfully! It is my Australian Shepherd's fav spot. Got this cover due to the fabric of my chair being the worst dog hair magnet ever. I have an XL oversized/chair and a half, the big chair part cover fits great, but the cushion cover sent with it is wayyyy too small. It is definitely not chair and a half sized. It makes the cushion looks goofy as it is super squished in there and doesn’t fit properly. I saw a recent reviewer that had this same problem, and the company reached out to them made it right. They then updated their review to 5 stars. I would like for the company to reach out to me as well and I will update my review to 5 stars once sent a proper XL/chair and a half sized cushion cover. I really love this cover! But it just looks wrong and disproportionate due to the cushion being squished into a teeny tiny cover. If this cushion cover issue is not remedied, I will have to return the whole thing, which I don’t want to do as I really like it. Please help :) ... show more
