Was EXTREMELY close to lighting this slip cover ablaze. I was extremely dissapointed with the insufficient instructions. It took me an HOUR or two to figure out how it was too be applied. All the slipcover shows is a tag that says back....But OK WHERE IN THE BACK??? Any sane person would assume the back tag goes in the center but there is NOTHING indicating the tag is actually supposed to be on the very bottom left other than a smaller tag showing L.....OK does this L mean Large......lower........Light ablaze!?. It was then, when I finally figured that the L was for left, that everything fit into place. It turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL slipcover. I chose turquoise and I love it. I couldn't find it anywhere else. Also they should change the color description to "turquoise" and not blue. There is a difference. Despite my frustration overall, I'm so glad I didn't light my cover ablaze. It's beautiful. See pics for proper visual/instruction. It will save you so much frustration. In my pic it looks blue but it's teal/turquoise which is exactly what I wanted. Thanks! ... show more

Pretty nice cover. The little foam cylinders provided (white) did not hold the cover in place. I purchased a long foam pipe insulator (grey) instead which works great.

As a young adult renting my first house, I was thrilled to have a matching set of hand me down living room furniture: sofa, loveseat, and chair. Actually they were hand me downs of hand me downs, within the family, but I l've been grateful to have them. Structurally all three are in solid shape and they are incredibly comfortable, but the tan microsuede was getting visibly gross. I cleaned them vigorously many times with rubbing alcohol, but they just always looked icky. I used a lot of blankets to cover up the couches but that looks a bit ratty too. After three years, I'm ready for an upgrade, but financially am not quite there yet, so I needed a budget option. As you can see the couches are a slightly odd shape with nonremovable cushions on the seat, arms, and back. The slipcovers simplify the look and clean it all up. I did order upholstery pins so that I can anchor the covers in place a bit better, but already they made a huge improvement in the aesthetics of the furniture. The color is exactly what I expected from the photos, and the texture is comfortable. It took about 10 minutes per couch to install. One tip: the included instructions imply that the "back" tag should be located at the center of the couch. Not so. It belongs at the rear right hand corner of the couch, toward the bottom. Update: For the same price, I will be returning this slipcover to purchase the two-piece of the same type from the same brand. I am happy with the temporary solution but since I am looking at purchasing a blue couch, I will be trying out a blue colored, two-piece slipcover instead. I'm expecting the two-piece product to keep better tension around the seat cushions when my roommate sits down and gets up; the current one-piece cover works fine but I'm a perfectionist. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0186VDESY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A30INLR3ZMECXS&psc=1 For under $50, this is the best possible option for covering up an old or ugly couch. It took me about ten minutes and half a dozen safety pins to get everything tucked just right, but it looks great. It fit a 74" sofa with two cushions, flared arms and a curved back, with room to spare. If your couch has a rounded top or back, you may want to tuck the excess material into the creases by the arms and back, or use additional safety pins. I found that the foam inserts included were enough. If you read through enough reviews, you should get some good tips and tricks on getting the right fit. I bought this product because in all honesty, I have an american bulldog that is very disgusting. I also have a 6 month old. The couches are my bulldogs domain but I would feel so guilty putting my daughter down on the couch even after all my cleaning. This cover was awesome for just this reason. Once a week I take them off and throw them in the wash. I've had these for a few months now and they are holding up great! no color fading but a few small holes from the dogs nails but nothing noticeable. She also runs rampant and uses the couches as her parkour course. Might not recommend for active pets. The one thing that bothers me which is my fault is the constant need to re-tuck them. They look sloppy after someone sits and gets up. But I didn't realize they sold them in 2 pieces and I really think that will help! Just ordered the 2 piece ones on prime day! UPDATE*** The 2 piece ones are much better! don't bother with the 1 piece! It's a bit more of a pain to put the 2 piece one on but there is no shifting with the fabric. No more sloppy mess and my couches look great! ... show more

I normally don't leave reviews on anything, even if I like it... but this product has been a LIFESAVER!!! So I thought this might help people that are skeptical about thus product.. my couch and loveseat were in bad shape but really didn't want to spend the money to buy new furniture yet because I have small children. But these covers work great!!! They fit the couch perfectly and stay on.. yes I do need to tuck after kids have been on them but that's normal with anything.. we have already had spills and they spot clean beautifully. When I wash them I will repost about it. But they are working more then I expected. I would purchase again.., oh my couch is a recliner too and slip cover stretches right up with it.. that's a plus!!! ... show more
