When we received our chairs the bottom wood pieces on eight legs was either broken or cracked. I contacted Chrome-craft and they immediately sent out 8 replacements. We got the set of 4 light sand/oatmeal. They are attractive chairs, very stiff as far as the tilt goes so that's disappointing. The seat is thick and very comfortable. The actual material chair is coved with is not necessarily a nice feel. Very rough and scratchy when you have shorts or a dress on so not impressed with that. That being said the pattern of the material I think will definitely be good for hiding stains should the chairs sustain that. They roll like a dream on our ceramic tiled floor. They are narrow and the arms are slanted. 2 of the chairs it appears the pattern on the seat is at a slant so it doesn't flow nicely from the seat back, I don't like that as it looks funny but not gonna perseverate on that. The biggest thing is one came damaged. The wood on one of the legs is split soo I'm not sure what happens from here on that. Reported it but no response as of yet. Not sure I would buy again as they're nice but not worth the price they cost with the damage, pattern not really lined up, stiff tilt, so narrow and not a "feel good" material. UPDATE: COMPANY REACHED OUT AND IS SENDING A REPLACEMENT PIECE, SO IF THEY DO REVIEW STARS WILL INCREASE. I'LL FOLLOW UP WITH PICTURES AND ADJUST STAR RATING, STAY TUNED. ... show more

We received our 8 chairs, they were delivered swiftly; very satisfied with them overall. One base is noticibly damaged, scratches on a few. We would like to receive credit, at Chromcraft's discretion, for the one base. We do not wish to return the base, we have the chairs put together, and do not wish to take that one apart.
