I bought this for my office, and I was able to get it in the house, up the stairs, and assembled by myself (up the stairs as more flipping than carrying, but that's just because it's bulky... it's pretty light weight). There are 0 tools needed to assemble it, and the whole thing took less than 15 minutes to unbox and put together. The back rest is a separate piece and is screwed down, but fits tight enough that you can lift the chair off the floor with it, so I don't expect it to fall apart. The print on the fabric is much darker than what is shown in the listing - I was expecting light blue and pale grey flowers, it's more dark blue and dark grey. But it is the same pattern, and still looks OK in my office, so it's not something I would want to return it over. ... show more

Arrived early.Always a nice surprise! Well made, heavy/sturdy also a nice surprise. Took less than 10 minutes to screw in the legs (which, by the way, have long thick screws, referencing again sturdiness of the piece) slide the back down and plop on the seat cushion. Very very pleased.

I put this together by myself and was done in 15 minutes. It’s beautiful and love the support! The back legs are in front to give it a more modern look. This is a fantastic buy! Thanks Amazon! Wish there was a futon or sofa that matched this chair.

I am a 78 year old female and set this up in less than 30 minutes. Hardest part was getting the pieces out of the box! Accidently put the back legs on the front, but that's where they are staying for now. I actually think the straight legs look more modern. Very easy to put together. As another review said the back is unusual so probably not the best viewing angle in an open room. I love the pattern and colors. The upholstery itself has more of a synthetic feel to it than I am used to but that might be a good thing if I ever spill anything on it - knock on the solid wooden legs! This a good chair for me I am not tall so a good fit. I have been using it at my desk while waiting for my actual desk chair and may continue using it for that purpose. ... show more
