I haven’t put this up yet and won’t for another few weeks, but I did test it out and the lights and light modes work great as well as initiating the timer function. I’m disappointed that this didn’t come with anything to stake down the lights. Similar models that I looked at did, and I just assumed that this would too. If I would have realized it didn’t, I would have went with a different seller where it’s all included. The cost of having to buy the stakes will make this more expensive than some of the others out there. ... show more

I ordered this to hang from my oversized shed in the backyard. Loved it so much, I ordered a second one for the front yard. I got the Vibrant one. I use timers for all my decorations so I cant comment on the remote. Word of caution, careful not to make the strings too taunt when anchoring the lights, as the string can break (yes, I did that) blame myself not the product! Normally our decorations get buried under our snowfall, but these still shine bright as they are higher. I like the price and easy set up on these lights as well. It comes with a fairly long cord as erll to plug in( longer than most decor) I would definitely purchase these again.
