Before I start, I’d like to try to help some people out. As I was reading through the reviews, I noticed several people who bought this light, but mentioned they didn’t receive a remote control with it, and knocked off several stars, which hurts the seller. I just want to point out that there are basically TWO 64”LAMPS that are almost identical, but ONE HAS THE REMOTE, the other IS WI-FI COMPATIBLE WITH NO REMOTE AND WORKS WITH ALEXA OR GOOGLE. Please make sure you’re ordering the lamp you want. The seller shouldn’t have to suffer because of low stars because we’re not choosing the correct lamp option. I hope this bit of advice helps. Please choose the correct lamp you want. The one with or without the remote. Anyway… the reason for my low star rating is completely different… So, I’m a chemo patient and I needed a light to be able to see in the space where I’m set up at home now. I’ve been looking for a light and it took me months to settle on one. That’s because it takes me a while now, but I also wanted to be certain. This one sounded perfect because I could control it by just speaking to my Alexa. I finally was able to get someone to put it together for me. But, I had to figure out how to configure the lights. I was able to download the App, no problem. Then it came to looking at the light. I noticed it was all torn up all over the lamp shade. Not torn through, but like there were long scratches or razor marks all down the shade. There were also some dark smudges on it as well (see photo, although they show, but not too well). Once I got to the part of trying to configure the lights to the Wi-Fi, when I got to the blinky part, they just wouldn’t blink. Plus, the App said to turn the lights on and off 3 times, but the directions that came in the box said to do it 5 times. I tried both and everything, many times! Every time I turned it on and off 3 times, it made sorta a spark. Not an actual spark, or maybe it did within the lampshade, I’m not sure because it’s just hard to explain. All I know is that something just isn’t right. I’ve worked with many Wi-Fi lightbulbs throughout my house. They are both upstairs and downstairs. It’s easier for me. In fact, many things in my home are Wi-Fi compatible, so I’m pretty familiar with how to configure lightbulbs to an App. After about an hour of trying, I then opened my Amazon App and went to the product support page for this item and talked to them about it. Turns out, it’s not the actual company as one would think, but an Amazon employee. The first person I spoke to was the typical overseas customer service representative, who wasn’t able to help me at all, but did try to get me to pack everything up for a return and she would gladly waive the pickup fee (of $7.99, which all used to be free for Prime members, not anymore I find out; and this is a bit infuriating with all I buy since I’m home bound), and send me a new lamp. For the second time, I kindly thanked her, but explained that because of my illness, I’m limited. The box was thrown away. I’ll keep her offer in mind and thank you; however; I want to try to troubleshoot this lamp first. After several attempts going back and forth and me being insistent and figuring she just didn’t want to deal with the real troubleshooting situation, she finally asked me to hold whilst she could find the right person to help me. I write this all in my review, not to tell a story, but because many said they didn’t know how to get troubleshooting help. This is how and what you may or may not (hopefully not) go through. After being on hold a while, I finally got transferred to the US and spoke to product support. I asked her if she was from the company, but nope… Amazon product support. She only had the same exact instructions that comes with it and, and in the end, she couldn’t help me either. She even tried looking up YouTube videos, but to no avail. Bottom line, I have this lamp that will only give me white light, and where it’s located, I’m unable to get up and turn it on and off; therefore, I’ve got a light in my room that’s standing here, turned off because no one was able to help configure it. Remember, I’m a chemo patient and I’m unable to physically pack up this lamp myself and I don’t have help either, so I’m unable to do a return like this (the box is even gone). UPDATE: the seller reached and offered a full refund. I am appreciative and am buying a replacement lamp because I really do love the lamp! ORIGINAL: I bought two of these lamps in July. I love the way they look and they produce a cozy, warm yellow light. However, one of them started flickering more and more and then completely stopped working two days ago. I’ve tried everything I know to make sure I wasn’t the reason it stopped working. I’m not. Very disappointed considering I’ve only had it for 7 weeks. I’m past the return window and they’re expensive. As much as I love the look of them, I can’t waste my money on a replacement.

Hubby and I purchased two of these (XS-39") to frame our 65" TV. We chose this size because we purchased a couple of tables to bookend our TV stand, so we didn't need anything bigger - it frames our TV perfectly. PACKAGING AND ASSEMBLY: They were nicely packaged and assembly was easy. We were really impressed with the quality of the components - the shade was a lot sturdier than we expected. At first we were hesitant because of the price, but once we received them and put them together, we couldn't be happier with our purchase. I know some of the reviews mentioned that they were difficult to assemble, but we didn't find that to be the case. At first, we expected something like a rice paper shade, but it's a well made two layer fabric shade that has sewed eyelets for the bottom legs to come through. We were impressed with that detail because I can see how the shade might rip otherwise since it's a tight stretch fit from top to bottom. REMOTE: The remote was easy to pair using the instructions. We thought we would have to pair a remote to each lamp and operate them independently, but even though we paired one lamp at a time, each remote works both lamps. Hubby and I each have a remote by our bedside that controls both lamps effortlessly and without any signal interference or other tech hiccups. FUN STUFF: We have so many lighting options now and we're having a ball coming up with different schemes! We went a little nuts taking pics to attach so you guys can see some of the options we have now. You can change the color/warmth/brightness of each bulb individually (the lamp has 2 bulbs). To have a different color on the top and bottom, you simply turn off one bulb and adjust the other. When you're ready to customize the second bulb, turn off the first and adjust the second. When you're done, turn on both bulbs and voila - you have a custom multicolored scheme! To get different colors on each lamp (if you have more than one lamp), easiest way to do it would be to turn off one lamp using the lamp power button (not the remote), and customize the first lamp. Then turn off the first lamp using the lamp power button (not the remote) and customize the second lamp. When you turn the first lamp back on, they will be different colors. Another way to do it is to press the color button on the remote with both lamps on and keep it pressed - it will cycle through the colors and if you keep it pressed, it will eventually cycle through different colors on both lamps. The lamp remembers what scheme you had on - it turns on where you left it when you turned it off last time. Super fun to play with! CONCLUSION: We are in love with these lamps. Tons of options, easy to assemble, and great quality. A little pricey, but well worth it! Enjoy the pics!

I love this light and it looks great. It's basically Tyvek over a wire frame. Beware if you have kittens. Mine love going after this and have made a small tear and many snags. It doesn't help that bugs will fly towards the lights inside and bounce around on the sides....Then it becomes a game for the kittens.
