I've been eating these since they came in small metal slide top containers (and have saved a couple of the containers since metal is becoming less and less used--i consider them future antiques. :-) I love the chews!!. But I have aged (72 now) and don't remember them being this hard to open. Suffice it to say, I hope the manufacturer finds/invents an individual wrapping easier to undo. ... show more

These ginger chews are fresh and have a great taste…however, the individual wrappers can be a challenge to open and some of the chews are sticky inside making it hard to remove.
