Purchased this item to keep the bathroom cabinet closed that we keep our cleaning products in to prevent the kids from being able to open it and get into those products. It was easy to put on, made of sturdy material, and works like a charm. I do wish it came with a few different sizes as a I have a door that doesn't stay open and had attempted to use one to keep the door open but the length wasn't long enough for that specific task. But other than that this is a fabulous product to keep kids out of cabinets or even put one on the toilet seat to keep the lid closed so children aren't attempting to flush things down the toilet. The media could not be loaded. Great product! I have some nosey cats that get into cabinets and before didn't really mind but we moved into a new place that had a bug infestation so some harsh, toxic chemicals were put down into most of the cabinets. Therefore, we bought these since we're renting and didn't want to leave any damage. This will work great to keep out my cats and keep them safe! The cool part is that they really worked with this awkward cabinet that's next to my stove. After some brainstorming, I came up with this! So happy that I can clear out the clutter that I was using to keep them out initially and my cats can come in and be safe. I would highly recommend to cat proof your home, especially if you're a renter. I did have a little trouble with the adhesion bc as soon as I stuck it on it came right off, but apply pressure and you should be good! I also don't like that it's only a 4 pack, but will definitely be buying more! Also, didn't read this until after the fact but once you set the adjuster, you can no longer adjust this so my first attempt was not good so make sure to read ALL INSTRUCTIONS. These child safety locs for the cabinets are everything! We never child proofed the kitchen. We just slapped a gate at the entrance. We recently bought another gate to put in our basement but it was too short so we moved the gate that was previously at the entrance of the kitchen downstairs and the new gate upstairs. It was still too short but we managed to get the gate to fit with foam inserts but the gate door doesn't work properly because the wall is asymmetrical. Long story short, we've been stepping over the gate every time we need to into the kitchen. Since installing these we are finally able to allow her into the kitchen without her taking everything out of the cabinets. The installation was easy and the instructions were clear. Before I started I cleaned both spots that the adhesive would be placed in and let it dry. Then I took the lock and placed it on the cabinet to mark where I wanted to put the lock. Once I had that figured out I adjusted the strap. I took the end that was already pulled back and pulled it higher and pulled the strap until it was the right length. I find the end was a bit harder to lock in place but I pushed it against the counter to get it into place. Then I took the adhesive off the end with the sliding piece and placed it against the cabinet first then attached the other side of the adhesive. I held both ends for about two minutes to make sure it stuck. The instructions state to wait two hours before using but I didn't unlock it until the next day for good measure. My daughter tried to yank the door to the cabinet open with no luck. She's two years old, 3ft and 25lbs. Believe me when I say our daughter is pretty strong. Since she couldn't yank the door open I know the adhesive is strong. I'll update if anything changes. I was able to use it for the cabinet and the drawers. I love that the color of the lock compliments the color of the cabinet so it's not much of an eyesore. I am not sure how well the locks will hold up in the kitchen as well as the bathroom since both places tend to get pretty warm and humid. I'll update with any changes. I also wish this luck could fit the center angled cabinet. Hopefully the seller will see this review and create one. ... show more
